RE-Motherwell v Hearts/bookies inquiry

The player sent off Jennings previously played for Tranmere Rovers, the Association of British Bookmakers are investigating the bet, which was a new account opened in Liverpool and £500 was laid at 10/1 for a sending off, maybe the connection is Merseyside?, maybe not? why bring the official into it?, he done nothing wrong, the way the guy got on it looked like he wanted sent off, coincidence or what?

For what I've read about Celtic's history, they were called Celtic pronounced Keltic, because of the Irish and Scots roots, Celts, confusing is'nt it, but who changed the pronounciation and when ?is a mystery.

RE=Why when Brother Walfrid and friends founded Celtic FC, with the Irish connection, why is it pronounced as Seltic rather than Keltic?, as is Celtic Cross, the Celtic nations of Ireland, Scotland and Wales! legit answers/explanations please.

Mission Statement-

the officail title for our club is- The Celtic Football and Athletic Club.

celtic football and athletic club was formaly constituted at a meeting in St Marys hall in East Rose street (now forbes street). in Glasgows Calton district on 6th November 1887.
While not all the founders were in favour, a key decision was made to make the club open to all regardless of religion. This move was not supported by those who wanted the new body to be called Glasgow Hibernian to anchor it as an Irish club.
Arguing against this faction, Brother Walfrid strongly lobbied for the name Celtic (it was never Glasgow Celtic as it is sometimes wrongly labelled)- and won the day. This name was chosen specifically because it fused the Scots and Irish elements both the races being celts The name was therefore Celtic with a hard C (K sound) not with the soft C (S sound) it quickly became. Moreover, although Edinburgh Hibernian was the acknowledged model, Celtic was not to be linked to the temperance movement or the Young Mens Catholic society. Unlike the all-catholic team in the East, Hibernian, religion was not to be a criterion when selecting players.

does that help?

Cervi off to Dundee on loan. Should an acceptable bid come in for Zaluska were going to eye up free agent Rensing. Had struggled at Bayern but has pedigree and just needs to settle somewhere. Inside man
