Rumour secvo accounts could be so bad there will be a lse suspension of trading shares for a period. A share run on selling and a crash could be possible. Panic selling already by those in the know?

TRFC cannot possibly trade it's way out of any indebtedness in div2. Losing over £1m a month. Is the current board competently running this company?

This ghost of the dead RFC could be dissolving and fading away.

lets not go down the sevco route of boycotting every team that dosnt agree with us if we all want what's best for the game then boycotting is not the answer

Just what is the thoughts of our support on the collapse of the reconstruction plan? I would think we have a pretty wide ranging demographic on this site, so it would be interesting to see the responses to these points.

1/ Should Paisley and Dingwall be boycotted next year? Not for disagreeing, but for the manner in which they done it. Both these clubs agreed, in principle, to the outline of the plan in January. Stewart Milne was scathing in his criticism of Gilmour but let McGregor off lightly. Is this because Gilmour got his demands met, a change to the voting structure, but still did not vote in favour? This makes his move a bit murky for me.

2/If an SPL 2 is put forward and The rangers are invited to join what would be your thoughts? With the voting structure remaining the situation as is, the 11-1 system, means we could in effect keep them out. I would expect that and if it was not done, for whatever reason, I would not spend another penny on Celtic.

3/ In the midst of all this The rangers PR one question still bugs me. What are the SFA doing in regards to investigating the licence granted to the new club? If it was granted to sevco5088 then Whyte is implicated, a clear breach of the rules. We as a club should be asking questions of these people. From the temporary licence fiasco to Sandy Bryson's tainted evidence to the LNS enquiry, we should be demanding answers. Are we being too soft? Should we be a bit more forceful? Thanks guys. and Ghirls of course!. green jhedi

Bear here,

Can you guys tell me why Celtic are upset at the vote today. I just don't get it, how will this system improve what we have now. It seems to me that Celtic are not affected by the change other than you give more money to other clubs. Now that may improve lower clubs and div one teams, but how much will it improve. They get another few hundred thousand pounds, what difference will that make, one player.

They seem to think that the bottom four and top four in div one will enjoy much bigger crowds. Are we really saying that say Dundee v Morton will suddenly attract huge numbers? No it won't, it will get the same number of fans as it would now, bugger all. This is a fourteen game play off, really how many fans will that attract?

The problem is that there are way too many teams with too few fans. Do we really think that Morton or Thistle have a huge fan base that will turn out for 14 weeks? I know if they get to a semi or final that thousands appear from nowhere but over 14 games. I don't see however you carve it up that it will make any difference.

Let me make this clear, I am not saying this for Rangers benefit, because there is no benefit. I don't agree with the Green 14-14-14 plan either, although I read recently that Lawell preferred a 14 team top league.

Can I ask for one reasons that have nothing to do with Rangers plight, I really would like to hear any valid reason why they wanted this.

Any SPL changes require an 11-1 vote.
Celtic can therefore veto anything.
No spl2 league that includes secvo5088. VETO!!

These people running our game think you can treat fans shoddily and we'll still fork out.
Listen, the SPL did well this season in a very very difficult market BECAUSE secvo5088 were only allowed entry to fourth tier. Anything else and the game was over.

Any further assistance and special treatment for the secvo lepers and there won't be the money that flowed this year. It'll be walk away for good time from this corrupt game.

RFC wasn't sold for £1. It was sold by Lloyds for £18m. Oldco received £18.8m directly from Ticketus.

David Murray had surrendered the club to Lloyds due to the massive debts. Lloyds had operated the club for three years, sold it for the remaining debt figure to Ticketus.

The money did not go to Craig Whytes bank account first.

Ticketus could easily argue that D&P selling the assets to green was illegal. Thus negating the whole share issue. Ticketus are owed £18.8m and the only place they will get it is from the assets.

Listening to Snyde, amazing the amount of newco fans on claiming that PL is running scottish football. looking at his record at CP, if he was running it, it would not be in the state it is in at the moment! DJ should also ask CG for Jabbas wages as he seems to be the official newco spokesman. anything CG says DJ repeats.

If my memory serves me well was it not smaller teams who voted for Setanta to take over the screening of SPL games. Look how that turned out. If it was not for Peter Lawwell I dread to think what kind of TV deal we would have just now. I know its not the best but it is better than we thought we would get. Its time other clubs thanked Mr Lawwell. Julieghirl

It's time for Neil Lennon to get his head out of the sand, and start to rotate the squad a bit. Mulgrew seems go get a game every week, even if it is out of position. He is a defender. Centre half or Left Back, but not a midfielder, yet Lennon has a soft spot for him. Same goes with Gary Hooper, who hasn't looked interested since Norwich came calling in January. His head had been turned and his heart wasn't in it. I personally would have sold him, as he has stated that he wants a move. Big Efe is a liability at centre half. It's a shame that Marcus Fraser is injured as i'd have given him a run out for the remaining games in the league instead of Efe, but Gershon could probably do the job aswell.

I was always unconvienced on reconstruction to be fair and think it is correct that we honour the season of who win promotion and who is relegated is carried out pass no monies down and keep the status quo for the next 2 years and we will see who survives and this also stops the Rangers claiming they are being kicked when they are down as it is quite obvious that some clubs have been courted to vote against reconstruction by whatever or whoever with fools gold so let sit back and see what happens we are financially secure and the newco might regret not taking the 300k on offer which could be the difference between survival

So St Mirren & Ross County don't want a distribution of the SPL cash going down to the SFL, this is the only reason I can see for them voting NO, well that and the split talk that could see them both relegated to Div 1 without actually being at the bottom of the SPL.

Can someone please tell me why they think this benefits Rangers. Not everything is about 'them'.

I am not surprised by the msm buying into the investigation into green as being sir walter pushing for this the facts are a five hour meeting was not to discuss these matters as had he shown the deeds meeting over the facts are this meeting was to determine severe cuts in finance and how to move on durrant McDowel l (who I will not slate as he done a professional job at celtic during his time at the club) sneaky ally has stated he "did not enter into discussions" this does not mean he was not asked by green to chop them as I have stated previously in posts this is the end game for this new club and reconstruction delay only buys another year if they survive till then which I am informed is doubtful

12-12-18 rejected by St Mirren and Ross County.
That was the best model on paper for financial returns yet neither of these chairmen satisfactorily explained their ruinous stance. Disgraceful.
There can be no plan b and the status quo must remain going forward. I suggest changing nothing, as it works, and keep the money in the SPL and don't give it away to the SFL.
Let secvo5088 work up the leagues (if they can, even with SFA officials helping with 13 red cards against the opposition, and giving secvo penalties).

I see the flying pig has shown his usual colours by making a statement concerning the league set up saying people shouldn't be self-centred and vote down the proposed set up for the sake of Scottish football and oh by the way you need to put rangers into the second division. when are people like him going to stop hijacking the process and making it a vehicle to get newco leap-frogged into div 2.
If that were to happen then that would be worse
For our standing in the football world.
You were one of our best goalies but your arrogance and bias is blatantly obvious, let the restructuring process take its course and rangers work their way back up the honest way without tunnel visioned people like yourself interfering

Well so much for "Armageddon" both semi's were entertaining, goals galore and worth the admission money.
Another "All Green" final I was lucky enough to be present at two cup finals in the mid 70's I think,
Celtic 6 Hibs 3, Celtic 6 Hibs 1, Dixie Deans I am sure scored two hat tricks.
One thing is for sure it will be a good friendly occasions, unlike Millwall and Newcastle fans, we Tims do not fight among each other. Also I doubt aither set of fans will take umbrage at song sheet that day. hail hail timalloy

Yesterdays game left me totally drained and I'm not sure if I enjoyed it or not.

The 4-3-3 showed up our 2 centre backs as vulnerable and thought they were woeful at best. Seen some of the comments on here yesterday and James Forrest was most definitely not to blame for the 3 easy goals Celtic's defence gifted Dundee United. The formation for me also left Hooper isolated and I would not say he had a bad game as such.

This was James Forrest's first game in over a month and if it was not for his superb cross in extra time, I dread to think. That's what he's good at, job done!

Think for the final I would consider moving Ambrose to Midfield and Mulgrew at the back. Will we have Scott Brown back by then? Here's hoping with Wanyama and Kayal out he will be needed.

Anyway, 1 point from being Scottish Champions again, last 16 of the Champions League and a Green & White Cup final at the end of May.
