Don't know about fitness etc. but my team tomorrow would be:
Forster
Lustig Virgil Ambrose Izzy
Mulgrew Johansen
Griffiths Commons Boerrigter
Pukki
Obviously you could jig that about with Stokes, Watt etc but from what I've heard Boerrigter has been decent pre-season and Pukki's confidence is high

Derk has done nothing pre season .mgeoch mgregor inthe ssme position were better and henderso was the best midfielder

For me:
Forster
Lustig
Virgil
Ambrose
Izzy
Johansen
Mulgrew
Henderson
Boerrigter
Pukki
Stokes
Certainly agree Pukki and Boerrigter should start Kev.
I just hope we're up for it. I really reckon Finnbogason and Gary Martin (good player btw) will want to cause us problems from the off. Be one of those nervy, not quite up to speed kind of games I reckon but hopefully we'll turn up and come through unscathed.

Hopefully it's more like Cliftonville away than Elfsborg or Shakhtar Karagandy away lol.

Commons has to be a certainty to start.

Not Celtic related: Find it sickening (no offence Ed, knowing you're a Utd guy) the money Manchester United will make from their new kit deals! £35m per year from Chevrolet for 7 yrs as of this season + £75m per year from adidas for 10 yrs as of next season - they might not have UCL football this coming season, but who needs it when you're getting that kind of income per annum from your shirt sponsor + manufacturer?!

{Ed007's Note - The Adidas figure is only a minimum guarantee, there are bonuses for on-field success as well.}
Ah, is that right? Was thinking that's silly money for a manufacturer. It's almost double the previous word record that adidas pay R. Madrid!

{Ed007's Note - Adidas expect to at least double their money with sales in excess of £1.5 BILLION over the 10 years.}
With that kind of income plus the sky money and not counting what the best of Europe can accumulate what chance do we have of challenging in Europe or attracting any decent players I'm sorry to say absolutely no chance.killy.

What chance? we've got kris commons and leigh griffiths! come on! semi's minimum.MINIMUM! Add tony stokes that elvis lover and steady efe at the back!? safe

Real thought provoking POTD Ed if I do say so!
This front 3 as well described in today's ET is designed as a "high tempo", "front raiding wide man" which is not the mantle I would place on KC
Having said that we cannot afford to lose his goals / vision rare to see a player with little back lift gain as much power and precision as KC atb JB7

Scotland will play England at Celtic Park on Tuesday 18th November, the first time the countries have played in Scotland for 15 years. Could be even more interesting if Scotland achieve a Yes vote two months before that?!

Well, that's the World Cup over, which means only one thing - we're one day away from Celtic's first competitive match of the 2014-15 season!
Reflecting back on the World Cup but, players who stood out for me who I believe are realistic transfer targets were:
Costa Rica GK Keylor Navas who plays for Levante, Mexico's GK Guillermo Ochoa who is available on a Bosman after being released by Ajaccio due to a relegation clause in his contract and Algeria's Islam Slimani who plays as a CF for Sporting CP. The young PSV lad Memphis Depay (LW) was impressive as well.
I say realistic, but no doubt these players (other than Ochoa) will have inflated fees, as I've seen this morning that Pachuca are demanding £12m from West Ham for Enner Valencia!

Oh the good old days, you only remember the ones that went in, not the ones that went into outer space

I physically can't remember seeing Naka sending many FK's "into outer space", I'd actually be interested to know what his set piece conversion rate at Celtic because most of his FK's + pens went in or were on target?!
