Mrs E saw your post earlier about new sectarian laws, as we are decent fans we support any law that stamps out sectarianism, but what I am worried about is it seems like a way to lump us together with the shame's fans. We have already seen senior policemen target the Green Brigade, and then Celtic by reporting us to UEFA. My question to police is this, are they targeting the rangers blue order for their chants? Are the senior police at Ipox reporting their fans sectarian singing. All we want is fairness, all we will get is us being tagged more closely with the shame's fans and to try and destroy our Celtic fans good name. Timalloy

I'm all for it as well Tim but 5 yrs in prison when other sc*m are walking the streets ? I think the SNP wanted to be seen as doing something and were 'allowed' this.

Mrs E I cannot see us beating Udinese, hope I am wrong. St Johnstone seem to have hit a bad patch they are missing Sheridan and Sandanza both good players. We should have enough to beat St Johnstone lol Timalloy

I see the SNP got their way:-

New laws to tackle religious hatred and bigotry related to football have been passed by the Scottish Parliament, despite a lack of opposition support.

The new Act aims to tackle the issue with jail terms of up to five years for behaviour which could cause public disorder in and around matches.

But Labour, the Tories, Lib Dems and the Scottish Greens said the bill was "railroaded" through by the SNP.

They said it was "bad law which risks doing more harm than good".

Hi Mrs E, I noticed this story also its just great what the "powers that be" actually do eh?.
Another classic is that wee ned on the train the other day who got kicked off and rightly so! But now the "Big Man" who kicked him off will be charged for assault! It's Madness, the wee ned claims he was sold the wrong ticket?? yeah ofcourse you were ya wee mink! The stupid thing is if it wasn't filmed justice would of been served but as everything is filmed nowadays this guy will be charged (no doubt) and the ned will properly claim he has injuries due to it and may even get a pay out!! I tell you the world has gone mad. Sends a great message to the rest of the neds out there eh? Whilst the rest of us have to watch what we do in our own homes or on public transport now.
I'd like to see an MP dealing with a situation like this.

Alex Salmond should be concentrating on getting our country back on its feet instead of interfering with with football and religion. That's the police job. 1 in 12 people in Scotland are out a job and he wants to put all his time into poking his nose into football. The sfa/spl should just deduct points off clubs that chant sectarian/political/offensive songs. That would soon sort it out. Just my opinion.

I know this is not political site but snp so far: under 25 thing = waste of tax payers money, now football chants its going to be like in 10 years time. Oh its going to be ACE! It's actually what turned me on to this site in the first place. Some of the stories are just so good infact a classic is on the rumours page just now, ofcourse Ally McCoist would let it slip to a taxi driver of all people the exact date when Rangers will go into administration? It's not like he would tell anyone!?! Airports are always amazing places at these times of year too. I actually said to a fellow tim at work who uses this site that we should count the exact amount of players who Celtic will be signing in Jan we think it will be around the 70-80 mark? Is that generous or an underestimation Ed?
