I'm guessing Broony was at it again today. 2 more reds and manager sent off too. 😂😂😂.

Yes, and we’ll probably get cited for over celebrating as well. 😂😂😂😂😂.

Of course he was did you not see him winding up Ferguson just before at the free kick. He was in the wall telling all the Aberdeen players what losers they were.
Ferguson is like Morelos can take defeat without having to lash out at someone.
This has been going on for decades in Europe with the big clubs, you have to accept it and come back stronger.
On a side issue for next season I have heard we need 6 or 7 new players{ Packy Bonner} I disagree I would be happy with just 3. A RB and 2 CBs would add to the core of this side If we got Weah and Burke back on loan and given we could lose up to 14 players that should be fine for the squad.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Apr 2019 08:13:42
We need an number 10 with a bit of flair. Someone who will weight in with goals and assists.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2019 09:00:20
Is it just me and my green tinted specs, but I have yet to hear anybody come out from Aberdeen camp hoping that Ryan Christie was ok? Not McInnes and not Dom Ball no apology if it was an accident and not even wishing him well. All the bitter wee whiner said was it looked like a bad injury then cited the GMS incident in previous game. If that isn't someone who isn't bitter then I don't know.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2019 09:05:25
Considering the amount of players that are currently surplus to requirement or out of contract; there will be a big turnover and when you add to that a new manager - with new ideas and his own targets, there could well be around half a dozen new faces?
This could also include players like Ralston, Morgan, Arzani, Armstrong Okoflex, Dembele and Shved who could get their chance?

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2019 09:42:21
Shved could be a new no 10.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 22:22:54
OK will be contraversial and we are all entitled to our individual opinion but, other than Ed, (and notwithstanding the goal today) am I the only one who feels that Rogic does not do enough to be in a Celtic Jersey?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

14 Apr 2019 22:34:36
There’s no doubt about it the man divides opinion and to be honest I don’t know where I sit. But one thing you have to admit he does produce in the big games.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 22:40:36
He’s a genius but unfortunately injury prone, that’s his only downfall otherwise a living legend.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 23:04:00
He is always injured and isn't a 90 minute man, but he is a match winner and often does it when it matters. So for me he is a "keeper"

Agree1 Disagree1

15 Apr 2019 00:21:44
Absolute genius! The jersey fits him perfectly.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2019 00:23:18
I feel when he's fit he's our most creative player. Definitely a big game player. Christie is stepping up though as a more than decent alternative.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2019 00:27:42
As long as he bangs important goals in, or sets them up, he’s worth his weight in gold.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2019 08:15:35
His goal return is shocking for the position he plays. His assist rates are the same. Scores the odd big goal and lives off that.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2019 10:40:53
Kev that's a wee bit unfair he's scored more than the odd big goal he's done it regularly at hampden and at the crumbledome.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2019 11:29:24
he drifts in and out of games and at times seems as if he can't be @rsed, but he does come up with the little moments of magic when it matters, mostly against the DONS. for me he is a frustrating player but definitely a keeper. #Sheepskelper.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2019 13:19:19
He looked more tired coming on than the players that started. Agree he doesn't score or assist enough playing for a team like us. He should be just as influential than your Sinclairs and Forrests if not more as he's behind the striker. Christie has out performed him this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 21:48:25
Will Lennon be announced as new manager before the end of season, best to get plans for new season started, jobs his to lose.

Had anyone got any update on how Christie is? That was horrendous head hit he took.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

They think it's either a broken eye socket or cheek bone.

14 Apr 2019 22:31:11
Thanks Mally, hopefully fit for the final then 🙏🏼.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 22:43:06
Lennon said he has a chance of making the final.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 20:58:27
After watching the game today the only conclusion i can draw is that the sheep knew prior to kick of that they would be allowed to assault our players and i am convinced if the score was 1-0 that thug ferguson would only have got a yellow for his assault. OUR club needs to speak out about this before we lose a player for life because of this blatant refereeing bias.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

14 Apr 2019 21:21:26
We have been far too quiet and accepting of this for nearly two whole seasons now and I am at a loss as to why no-one from Celtic has spoke up or used the abundance of video evidence to take them to task.
Every other manager/ club in Scotland are ultra-quick to defend their club and there are even those who have bad-mouthed our captain (and others) publicly and aggressively, while we remain silent.
The lack of protection and ongoing blind-eye epidemic has encouraged many opponents to assault and attempt to injure our players.

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 21:32:23
What exactly do you want the club to say? That they want answers about the referee not intending to send off Ferguson even though he did send him off? He rightly sent off 2 of their players along with their management team and also gave us a penalty - all correct decisions.

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 21:45:25
kev, did you watch that today? ferguson should have been booked for persistent fouling and was eventually sent off for that assault on
tom rogic. our players need protection for 90 plus minutes not just when the game is lost.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Ferguson was already booked and Thomson still gave a straight red for his challenge on Rogic. I think it was Sutton that said even if he had won the ball he would have went off for a second yellow. I really don't know what people expected the ref to do differently on any of the big decisions.}

14 Apr 2019 22:01:01
Think that rat Ferguson spat at wee James as well . the ref was ok but the Forrest booking was bizarre as it was a foul.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Oh yeah I forgot about that but Forrest made a bit of a meal of it imo. Why do players need to dive like a dying swan instead of just going down naturally?}

14 Apr 2019 22:20:25
ed ferguson hadnt been booked, that is my point he was allowed to consistently foul and it was only after the geme was lost before he was going to get punished.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I was sure he had been booked earlier on because I was thinking he was walking a fine line after it. My bad.}

14 Apr 2019 22:48:36
He was booked before his red card. Only thing ref got wrong was the tug on Forrest but that was because Forrest dying swan act.
Moaning about ref just seems to be the default position for some people.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Apr 2019 06:54:08
I thought the ref was good yesterday
Some big calls but for me they were spot on.
Forrest went to ground far to easy although there was a pull on his jersey
What was Mcinnes sent to the stand for?

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2019 12:25:42
we still ended with a player assaulted and his season is probably over.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2019 12:54:40
Agree he definitely got the Forrest one wrong. He went down theatrically but it was still a foul. He also should have booked Ferguson for persistent fouling but other than that I don't really know what there is to complain about.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2019 15:14:43
Players shouldn't go down like that, Forrest was grabbed slightly round the middle, but he went down like someone had superglued his boots together, why don't they ignored this "there was contact, so he was right to go down", nonsense, why didn't Forrest keep steaming in on goals and try to score instead of making getting a free kick or a penalty the priority.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 19:48:15
McInnes is a slug, an absolute embarrassment to the game. How he can sit in his press conference and try to justify that thugs headbutt is beyond all reasoning.
Nasty Club from the management through the players to the supporters.
Ferguson though? He gets a special mention. That boy is a knuckledragger of the highest order. A wee thug most probably encouraged by his Da and Uncle. Absolute cesspit football from them today.
As for us? Brilliant performance from our Bhoys. Kept our cool through all their thuggery and got the job done with some!
Check the stats on Flashscore, they are truly immense.
Glad to get past them. Now, get the league sown up And look forward to a final against that despised mob from the Capital.
COYBIG!

Believable4 Unbelievable0

14 Apr 2019 21:18:22
Aye, he’s now using the sectarian abuse card for his actions, a blatant arrogant excuse for a loser. What ever happened to losing with dignity, the sooner we ever get out of this league the better.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 21:23:54
The wee runt is hurting and even played the sectarian card, which seems to be the order of the day - since the Steve Clarke incident.
I don't know if a song accusing someone of being part of a sectarian organization can be deemed a sectarian song though; Can it? ha ha.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 22:50:53
Look guys we can't condemn sectarian singing against us then moan someone using the sectarian card when they dig us up.
The cheer up song was song at him, so we've just got to take that in the chin.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 19:35:32
Congratulations Celtic against another bunch of knuckle draggers that can't keep discliplined in their day jobs. As for Dom ball his challenge was reckless at best straight red for dangerous play, could have killed Christie going in like that. I'm sorry don't accept accidental too much intent and no chance of getting the ball.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

14 Apr 2019 21:14:23
It looked awful, but I wonder where his head would have landed had Christie not got the ball clean. Really could have killed him tho.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 22:52:06
He never meant to take him out that bad. He meant to go through him but not do that damage.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 23:51:21
So he just intended to smash him with his head?

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Apr 2019 07:11:56
I don't think so. I think he's meant to clatter him with his body. Which was stupid anyway on a red. Seems the 2 of them are quite pally away from football as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 16:37:25
Guys/ ed as you may know I am a Lennon fan and had many debates with ed on this subject, but I not so sure this time.
Nothing to do with the game today as they played well but I think now is the time to step up and get another class manager.
We can either pay 500k-1m a year for an average manager or pay 3-4m a year to get a class one.
For me BR paid for himself with the revenue he brought and this is how we should go again.
So can we get a manager of pedigree who can see young talent who has CL experience won titles in the top leagues and make us a fortune in the process and playing good football?
Possibly out of our capabilities some may say but I bring you Arsene Wenger. No idea what he doing now but that guy knows young players, is not frightened to blood them and a track record of selling players on for a fortune which is our policy.
What you guys think?

Congratulations Celtic and Neil Lennon.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

14 Apr 2019 16:25:00
Brilliant display against a dirty bunch of suckers and wee del and his staff were a joke.

Agree3 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 17:40:34
Well done Glasgow Celtic against what I can only describe as thuggery and for not reacting to the provocation. The comments from the pundits on Balls challenge on Christie beggars belief, to say it was accidental, it was nothing other than serious assault and should have been taken away by the police. Im not a great fan ofNeil Lennon but well done Neil for today, and our stats in cup competition will never be equalled 26 straight wins and 81 goals scored exceptional. Hail Hail. oldkilly.

14 Apr 2019 17:43:42
A bunch of hacker's whos game plan was to kick us of the park. No discipline on and off the park. The gesture to all of us from DM shows he's a bitter little man. In the last 2 games against our so called rivals we have seen 5 players and 2 managers sent off whilst we keep calm controlled and get the job done. As captain obvious says "Still winning" 🍀.

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 17:52:07
Goin to say a massive well done to James Forrest! I’ll be man enough to admit that I’ve gave this guy pelters in the past and he’s frustrated the life out me! But his all round play and his goal return has been magnificent! I’m glad when a player shoves my Moans and doubts down my throat! Couldn’t be happier being proved wrong! Well done jamsie and long may it continue son! Absolutely superb 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💚🍀.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I said on the live chat today, Lh that Forrest is my POTY but the moaning and doubts were justified at the time. Over the last 18 months or so he has vastly improved his overall game and this season in particular he has shown consistency in his performances which was my biggest bugbear with him.}

14 Apr 2019 19:54:30
Forrest has been superb the last couple of seasons and he was again today. Can I just add that Johnny Hayes, who has been on the receiving end of a lot of criticism was also superb today. Don’t know why they both started on the other side of the pitch but when they switched they were excellent.

Agree3 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Hayes was fantastic today.}

14 Apr 2019 21:15:49
To be fair to our mob, Hayes hasn't had a lot of haters. Great to see him seize the day.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 21:23:35
James Forrest has been superb but Jonny Hayes was my MOTM.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 22:26:10
Totally agree ED, he was one of the most frustrating players I’ve ever seen and done my box in lol! But like u said his consistency over the past year and a half has been first class! And his finishing has came on leaps and bounds! Deserve major credit for his hard work and determination to improve! And I agree with the rest of the lads about wee Hayes, the wee man hasn’t had a great deal of opportunities but he’s been brilliant these past few weeks and especially today.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 15:09:06
I want to begin by saying that I am a big fan of NL.
No matter who becomes the next manager I want to see a role for Neil.
Having said all that if this is the style of football we will see over the next few years i will not be a fan.
Until the senting off the tactics appeared to punt the ball forward. On the few occassions that we played football and used the ball on the ground we looked a different proposition.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

14 Apr 2019 16:10:26
Some folk have it in their heads that under Brendan Rodgers we played silky sexy scintillating football? We’ve been dross many many times in the last season and a bit under Rodgers? We played well today enjoy it from what I saw we didn’t lump it forward at all? Lennon would do for me he has won more leagues than saint Brendan has!

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 13:23:17
So a Lenny team then. Dangerous game this, i asume McLennen will press Jozo and that lump of wood will go on Kris, we need to be switched on from minute one. Nice early passes to Eddy, his feet foe a change, and get Christie and McGregor to him quickly.

If we are on it we should win but McInnes is having a go here.

Girls and I fed and watered and now setting off for Hampden, girls have stocked up on snacks and juice as I think game may go to extra time, just as long as not to penalties as our record in penalty shootouts is not the best.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

14 Apr 2019 05:38:45
Looking forward to todays match, maybe a wee bit over confident but I can only see a Celtic win. Keep our discipline which has been good all season and we will win.
Talking of discipline only Hayes has been booked in this years cup and Aberdeen have picked up 14 bookings so far, lucky for them the caution count reverts back to zero for the semi finals meaning only a red card and the player misses the final.
If we score and leave the field of play today it will be interesting to see if its a booking after the hearts hitman ran to the stand and never got cautioned.
Ironic he scored hearts first goal after his blatant dive to win a penalty v Partick Th in the last round. If that was a Celtic player he would have been suspended for the next league game and the next round of the cup.

Got to be something steph because to leave him on the bench while we were chasing a goal was criminal.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 16:04:51
I think it’s because he’s not playing his best football and hasn’t been for a while heyes and weah look more of threat at the minute, most of Sinclairs goals are from the spot this season misses a lot of sitters and his touch let’s him down, it’s not a dis on sinky great player on his day but all our players are Hayes was the correct choice today played amazing fast and direct hail hail too the final 🍀.

If Tierney is carrying an injury, and is going to require complete rest at end of season, isn't it better to rest him now rather than aggravate is pelvic problem?, I know he will be a big miss, if he is not played, but isn't it better to have him fully fit for next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 00:20:20
I like Eds choice of Marcelo Bielsa but if Leeds get up to the over inflated league then there is no chance of him coming to us. I would just give Lenny the job and let's just get on with planning ahead for next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2019 09:46:44
Doesn’t matter what he’s being paid we can afford it especially for that one position, it’s attracting the big names to Scotland that’s the issue but bielsa, avb, benitez anyone of them I’d be very happy.

£100k a week he’s in from what I hear funded by a businessman associated with Leeds.
