Ha ha! I hardly think Vladimir Putin cares much about the ongoing saga of the SPFL. He's got a world war to plan! 😂 😂.

Well, Ghirl's and Bhoy's, the time has come for one final push from our glorious player's and manager. To win back to back trebles would be unbelievable and certainly an achievement I thought I'd never witness. Let no one dilute the significance of this achievement if we can get this over the line. Let's once and for all put our noisy neighbours in their place with a stellar professional.

If we play our A game from start to finish, nothing can stop us-including that troglodyte ref! Cup game, nerves etc. We’ll see what happens but how I would love a pure demolition! May be stating the obvious, we all want a win but how good would it be to pure Godzilla them!

Agree2 Disagree1

14 Apr 2018 20:50:13
Play Griffiths. I can see a couple from him. My only worry tomorrow are the usual honest mistakes. We are a much better group of players. Even our bench are better than their first choice players. 3-1 celtic. 1 red card at least. Confident.

Agree1 Disagree1

14 Apr 2018 22:00:03
If we turn up we win simple as that. We have far superior players in every position. Big Dedryk gives me the fear tho, don't know if he"ll play but looked a bag of nerves in last game against them. Could probably afford a blunder from him and still win with a bit in hand. The honest mistakes worry me a bit, I'm still haunted by the howler against Caley under Ronny when going for the treble, 1-0 up and Meekings handballs on the line to prevent goal, no pen, no sending off and the rest is history . Going 3-1 us with a Mousse double.

i wouldn't be surprised if he sent two celts off johnny.

15 Apr 2018 01:34:25
One red card wasn't enough at Ibrox so two sounds like a good bet and at least one penalty in each half so it's a close game lol.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Apr 2018 09:46:52
Jamesbhoy i am with you on that. They will be looking for any excuse to award a yellow or a red. We need to keep the ball. We know they will come at us at 100 mph and play big balls straight down the middle so if we need to miss out the midfield a couple of times to release Grifc or Moussa then let's do it.

{Ed0333's Note - let’s all say a prayer.

14 Apr 2018 20:51:29
Who would put a thumbs down to that comment from ED? WHOMEVER THAT WAS YOU ARE A MORON.

Agree3 Disagree1

14 Apr 2018 21:20:25
Johnny, don't let it bother you. It's well known our pages are trolled by complete persons who just love the thumbs down but the thing is, even some of their more hardcore nutjobs wouldn't thumbs down something of this nature which bridges both devides. All it takes is one utter Scumbag to ruin it for everyone. When I see the suffering a guy like Fernando Ricksen is enduring, it makes me want to cry. I hated the guy with a passion when he played for them but this is real life. If someone is taking comfort by watching someone else suffer simply because they played football for a certain team then they are the ones needing the real pity as their life must be so shallow as to take part in that behaviour.
By the way, our ED's have every IP logged so you're not so anonymous. It's maybe time the ED's started publishing the usernames of these thumbs down warriors.

@Timalloy. I know a lot of Aberdeen fans up that way through work and there is a rumour, still going, mcinnes will be at ibrokes. The thing is i don't think it would bother them to much if the replacement was, say, Clarke.

I imagine that today will have lots of fans questioning him.

GJ if what you have heard is true, that is shocking, he has destabilised a well run club, I hope he does go to Sevco they deserve each other.

14 Apr 2018 20:53:04
Hope Clarke does not go. Who cares about McInness. No better than Murty. I think McIness is heading to England.

14 Apr 2018 15:45:01
Aberdeen and MacInnes are in real trouble. Next season no Maclean or Christie, MacKenna could leave and the players he has bought in look very poor. Arneson, Tansey, May, Stewart, Mackay- Steven, Cosgrove, and McGinn.
Rooney no where near his performance of other years and age catching up with the squad. Only Shinnie has performed at last years level bottom six a possiblity.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

14 Apr 2018 16:59:56
Always liked Shinnie and thought he would be a really handy squad player for a few years now.

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 20:11:51
The difference from last season and this is very bazaar considering the team is virtually the same and the rapid decline - as I've stated in a previous post - coincided with Slug 2 talking to Sevco.
Aberdeen FC have allowed this rot to set in and deserve all they get while I have a feeling their manager has a job all ready waiting - where he belongs, the wee septic rat.

14 Apr 2018 14:18:54
Stephen Robinson has done well at Motherwell as has Steve Clarke at Kilmarnock. Two good managers.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

14 Apr 2018 15:06:10
For me Motherwells first two goals should have been disallowed, first for a blatant hand ball and secondly for a push on the defender, which again highlights the poor standard of officials in this country. Todays referee in my opinion is one of the worst and the stooges behind the goals are only there as spectators, thoughts please. oldkilly.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 15:46:58
Definitely hand ball for the first but the Aberdeen player stopped playing and Motherwell took advantage. The second one I think the Motherwell player just used his strength and the Aberdeen centre back was too weak. Shocking game of football though. Route one football with the ball spending the majority of time in the air.

14 Apr 2018 16:29:35
Yep your right there jfp. He's only spent 10 grand or something like that and made 2 finals.

Don't think I've seen a Murderwell player stay on his feet when challenged. If that McKenna is the future of the Scottish defence we're in for a torrid time. He's absolute shoite.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Christie is no replacement for either rogic or Armstrong.

Agree3 Disagree1

14 Apr 2018 14:12:44
Tim; It could appear to some, he did do some sort of deal during those meetings with Sevco as he has steadily steered a successful club - that was clearly our main rivals (and have been for years) - to football oblivion in under six months. Something stinks?

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Apr 2018 15:46:31
I think you are right OaB, I think he has arranged something in the hope that Sevco get second above the Sheep and then he would take over in the summer.
The only problem was he didn't think Hibs would be such a challenge.
He is the biggest bottle merchant in management. If I was the Aberdeen chairman I would show him the door and give Steve Clarke a call.

14 Apr 2018 13:01:04
There are a lot of mind games going on before tomorrow. mostly coming from us i might say.
From the manager, captain and some players.
I hope we are not being to over confident.
However I am sure our better quality will prevail.

14 Apr 2018 14:01:48
Obviously prefer a more insular and focused build-up, with our players doing their talking on the park but as long as they all perform to their best on the day - despite Maddens influence - we should have too much quality and class.

Shame on the Motherwell fans, how often do they have chance to get to a major cup final, yet their end is EMPTY. Less than 20 miles down the road whereas the Aberdeen fans have to travel 10 times that AND travel very early because of 12.15 kick off.
