Hi Ed

Its been a while since I last posted, hence I've forgotten my login.

Just wanted to join the debate on Neil and the possibility of him going as well as potential summer signings.

I don't think we will lose Neil this summer, nor next. I believe we will get 5years from him ( approx 2 more ) at which point he will move on and further his career, and good luck to him. My reasoning for this. An interview with him last season I think when he discussed shelf life of a Celtic manager, I believe he would like to match his expectations if not surpass them. Also I believe he still has more to learn and master, from tactics, selection and also conduct. Now before anyone jumps down my throat ref my last statement this is merely MY observations.
I also feel he'd like another crack at the Champions league. just to prove it wasn't a fluke. Especially given the fact the teams he's been linked with cannot offer European competition in any format.

Next up is recruitment;

I believe we will lose the likes of McCourt Rogne Gershon Miku Lassad and players of this ilk who aren't regular 1st team players along with some youth prospects.

Most importantly I think the only 2 1st team players that will go will be Hooper & Victor. The rest will stay.

Replacements I foresee;

Doyle/ Nugent / Walters
A commanding CB
left back cover/competition for Izzy
And possibly a flair player (George Boyd or European/African unknown)

Please all feel free to debate or ridicule my suggestions (that includes you Ed )

re mackay steven, as much as i'm not samaras biggest fan is this boy better on the left wing than him? is he better left mid than ledley? would he cause paul george to leave as he doesn't get a look in now, also commons and forrest can operate there and its probably our strongest area of the team with watt also playing out there a few times, so would we be buying a benchwarmer? imo cb playmaker and striker are the priority in the summer, I also think mcfadden would be a step backwards and would show a distinct lack of ambition and only be a price is right signing (free),, deep river bhoy

It looks as though TRFC chairman Malcolm Murray, according to a tabloid report is for the high jump. We will then see if Smith is a man of integrity. A man of his word and falls on his sword as he insists he will do. if Murray goes, Smith will go that's his promise.

Every Celtic fan anywhere in the world should be proud of everything they've achieved, because everything they've achieved in they're life they've achieved on they're own merit without joining any secret organisations to get there. Fergus mc Cann. HH AbS

Congratulations to McCall, Wanyama and Griffiths on their Clydesdale Bank SPL ANNUAL AWARDS.

I'm just surprised that McCall picked up SPL manager of the year, when there's three domestic titles up for grabs and he got none. He also had a crap run in European lower tier.

Lennon won the SPL, is in the final of the Scottish cup and managed Celtic into the last 16 of the top tier CL. There's just no comparison. If Celtic win the Scottish cup surely this decision will look even more ridiculous.

we should try and get a big centre back maybe Ashley Williams from Swansea he's meant to be leaving at the end of the season, and maybe mackaii steven for the wing for another option. If hooper goes i'd like to bring in Charlie Austin, it is replacing a goal scorer witha goal scorer what you think ed?

Former Rangers owner Craig Whyte has lodged an appeal against a £17.7m case won by Ticketus.

On Monday, a Judiciary spokeswoman confirmed Mr Whyte had lodged an application seeking permission to appeal Master Marsh's ruling in the case.

The papers outlining the grounds of appeal will be considered by a single judge at the High Court at a later date.

Mr Whyte, who is launching legal action claiming he is the rightful owner of Rangers assets as former chief executive Charles Green and commercial director Imran Ahmad acted as a "front" for him, claimed he faced a "substantial injustice" by not being allowed to cross-examine Ticketus witnesses.

The minutes seen by a newspaper said: "The SFA mentioned to the acting chief executive (Craig Mather) that the Rangers board situation needed addressing as the SFA understood information was leaking from the chairman.
"Staff reported Malcolm had been revealing details of the investigation following some drinks at the player of the year awards.
"Ian Hart reported he had received communications from fans alleging Malcolm had breached confidentiality by speaking to Paul Murray and also revealing detail about the investigation.
---------------------
Why would the SFA get involved in a private internal investigation at TRFC?
Why would the SFA try to help them to shut up their Chairman, who appears to be leaking investigation links between Green and Whyte?
Green is denying the links. Whyte has irrefutable proof of the links.
The SFA has to close TRFC down if links proven. Is Campbell Ogilvie and his pro TRFC agents within SFA involved? Who within the SFA warned off Mathers? It's not their job to do that.
