Not football related but have to share this with you all!

Its my Papa's birthday today (my Mum's Dad) and his name was Francis. He would have been 101 :-)

Just a coincidence with the new Pope Francis?

we know that rangers matches get top rated spl referees and referees can work any league but very few times would you see a top referee being sent to the 3rd division if you look at the wage structure of ref, s spl get around £1000 a match sfl ref, s get between £150 - £400 I maybe wrong but I can't see top ref, s being happy getting sent to ibrox for £150 a match so I would guess they get paid spl fees ( like I say I could be wrong ) but if that's the case and you have one club requesting refs and paying them £1000 when league rules state £150 - £400 is that not a form of corruption? when a club is seen to be paying ref, s 3 times what he should be getting think how it would be if it was discovered ref, s covering celtic matches was getting paid an extra few grand a week would the media not be questioning every decision that went our way surely refs getting paid more money for one club than league rules states is wrong

Longmuir's 12-12-10-10 failing and being booted into touch so now using language to scupper reconstruction::

David Longmuir: 'League reconstruction may not be in place for next season'

13 March 2013 15:02 GMT

David Longmuir's plans for Celtic and Rangers colt teams has been met with criticism from some SFL clubs.
David Longmuir has conceded league reconstruction might not be pushed through in time for next season.

The Scottish Football League chief executive says it is important the country's 42 senior clubs "get this right", as talks continue over changing the format of the league.

His hope to scupper 12-12-18 benefits rangers

Green said in February he had £21m in the bank untouched back in December.
But back in December he said he had £10m in the bank, season ticket money, totally untouched.

Then Stockbridge comes out this week with a £100m story. Straight from Jabba of course. The focus is all on money I wonder why?

Two weeks later I still cannot fathom LNS report stating GUILTY on all counts with withering criticism of RFC board but then issuing zero penalty! To then state no sporting advantage was obtained is clearly wrong. Erroneous.
That's twice now out of two investigations into RFC LNS has got the punishment wrong.

Just a thought on Longmuirs stupid, in my opinion, proposal for a Celtic and Rangers colts team to join the bottom tier of the league system. Firstly, the article itself. Penned by Ian King, among the first of the succulent lamb brigade, one thing jumped off the page at me. In the piece the term "old firm" is mentioned six times. As we all know that term died when one club of the two entered a liquidation process. Despite EVERY media outlet and EVERY radio pundit this is a fact.

The interesting thing is the fact that nowhere in the piece is Longmuir quoted as using the term "old firm" In the only quotes attributed to him regarding the clubs he calls them " both clubs". Further on when talking about the consequences of the clubs leaving Scottish football he refers to them as " both brands". Once again we see another example of media manipulation to suit one club. Why constantly use a term which does not exist any more? Again the mask slips at the last lines of the article. King writes "with the SPL vote on reconstruction on April 15, Longmuir backing the old firm option throws any pyramid system into turmoil. He (Longmuir) said "i'd ask SFL clubs to look at this as a significant opportunity".

Can you see what's coming? This new set up means green would have little or no chance of hiking season ticket prices up next year. These apologists know this. They also know that the SFL would be happy to accept the reconstruction as is, this would mean more paydays v Rangers. By dangling the carrot of Celtic and Rangers youth teams he seems to be trying to sell attendance figures! This is nonsense. I would assume at best you might get a couple of hundred on the gate for the Celtic youths v Elgin, Brechin etc, and that only if the weather was okay.

Get ready for the . Some things up and we seem to be getting primed to accept it. green jhedi

you also suspect something in the wind when green is quiet also longmuir attempting to delay reconstruction till if he gets the 12-12-10-10 this would allow better chance of getting to top tier quicker due to play offs surley even mccoist could finish top 4 in lower league
