One of the world's most intelligent men, and obviously wealthy, is buying into The Rangers so he can "have a look under the bonnet" and "see what's there".
Oh dear! An outsider with an IQ possibly higher than the rest of the board combined will be able to scrutinize everything. ALL accounts, all assets ownership, all debt, all salaries, everything.
Could TRFC be entering a period of openness and honesty? Or is it a stunt to drive fans opinions into the arms of the Easdales?

According the a Scottish newspaper, we are after Esmael Goncalves who was at St Mirren last season. I wondered about him before that shocking dive; I don't think he is what we need.

Getting a bit fed up with people on this ranting and raving about Russell and how we should have went for him before balde the guys had a good season and a half in spl and all of a sudden we should be rushing out to buy him a would rather put my faith in our scouting system who are looking globally for players and trust there judgement rather than jump on bandwagon because we see Russell week in week out do you really believe he's that special a player why then was only derby interested and do they believe that Russell could go to Portugal in a poor team and score nine goals the guy doesn't even get picked for Scotland for f##k sake so try have but more faith in Lennon and John park

was going to put this on the other site but thought they would still see it on here and there is a greater chance of it going on here.

Dear The Rangers "Fans"

This is a humble letter of apology from me on behalf of all Celtic supporters the world over. I have decided to keep it simple and provide an easy to read list of reasons why I and my peers are sorry. So in no real order :-

We are sorry that your old club could not make itself financially viable.

We are sorry that your old club could not live within the spirit of sporting integrity and fair play to all.

We are sorry that you were investigated by HMRC for unpaid tax.

We are sorry that we dug up evidence to prove the callous nature of your old clubs operations.

We are sorry that although what your old club got up to was abhorrent and against reasonable judgement in regard to EBT payments, is technically by a ball hair, within the law because you lot worded your defence quite well thus far.

We are sorry that the whole scenario stinks and that you have fallen foul of the SFA's corruption in terms of them breaking their own rules to let you start up a new club in the lowest professional tier.

We are sorry that throughout this whole mess you have not learned one ounce of humility.

We are sorry that throughout all this you still feel the need to claim superiority over everyone else.

We are sorry that your old club refused to pay its own way.

We are sorry that you feel you got relegated from the SPL. It should have been made clearer that you had died and were not being allowed in!

We are sorry that you have lurched from one self imposed disaster to another.

We are sorry you have a Jabba in your ranks.

We are sorry your so called "Birthday" party match wasn't against a club the stature of Barcelona. But then again it wasn't really your birthday was it?

We are sorry that on your "Birthday" a club with more history came and its fans mocked you.

We are sorry that your share issue on the front of it appears to be a complete farce, With the supporting documentation at the time amateurish at best and basically repeating itself all the way through. But we do know you like repeating stuff till you are blue in the face.

We are sorry that you are mocked at every turn about your new name. But maybe once your holding company/ companies sort themselves out about who they are, who they are owned by and what it is exactly that they own in turn we can come back to this issue once sorted.

We are sorry if this does not sound very heartfelt, but it is the truth. I may not actually speak for all Celtic supporters in this so at worst its an apology from me. We hope you can continue trying but failing to emulate the dead Rangers Club as it is all rather good fun watching.

From a very sincere and apologetic

Evinguu

Ed, what's the hold up with the Amido Balde signing? He's been here since Monday, done the tour, had his medical and apparently agreed terms, is this Celtic dilly dallying again? {Ed007's Note - Football transfers are a lot more complicated than they are on computer games.}

A recent quote from Tim Cahill: "For me, the biggest superstar of them all is Tommy Rogic. I just feel, spending the last two weeks with him, he is amazing. he could be something special. " Very encouraging words. This could maybe be the year Rogic establishes himself in the team. JC

When your enemies are falling on their own swords it is better to stand back and let them. I hope this is the mind set of those that run CFC. It is a sensible, maybe not popular approach amoungst Celtic fans but when looked at it, less hassle. I myself sometime question why the coup de grace hasn't been applied but you can imagine the reaction if Celtic had voted against ogre vile or if they had questioned recent e mails and audios from certain cretins trying to draw our club and club officals into their slime filled world.
Give all these dogs enough rope and they will hang themselves and no one can claim the paranoid Tim done this. TTTS

The Jambo's have put all thier players up for sale. Anyone worth putting a cheeky bid in? Ryan McGowan and Stevenson spring out. Anyone think it's worth raiding the wee (now big people lol)?

Afternoon Ed,

New User although I have been browsing the site for some time now.

I have a question and would appreciate your thoughts.

As we know Hooper has 12 months to run on his contract. if he was to sign an extension with an increase in salary and then move on would this not result in a greater fee for the club, for the agent and for the player? {Ed007's Note - It would mean who asked for the transfer the player or the club, that would be the factor of loyalty bonus and get messy.}

Here is FIFA's take on The Rangers

"Rangers go under 14 June Rangers’ perilous financial position had been an open secret but there was still shock when, after 140 years of history and a world record 54 league titles, the club was consigned to liquidation in mid-June. The Glasgow giants were subsequently reformed as a new company and granted entry to the Third Division, Scotland’s fourth tier, which they currently lead by nine points with a game in hand.

Celtic should go for Alfred Finnbogason from Heerenveen, he scored 28 goals in 33 games last season and Heerenveen only finished 8th. They've let key players leave recently for cheap, so I'd like to think we could afford him with the money we expect to get from selling Hooper.
