Or do you think they will press for another position to be filled if so which?

{Ed007's Note - As soon as RD was named as manager I mentioned Rosenborg's now 24 y.o. CB Stefan Strandberg, would be a good signing for us, I thought we could maybe steal a march on EPL teams over him, I'm certain RD will know all about him and off the top off my head I think his contract is up at the end of the Norwegian season.
I'd be interested to hear Norwegianred's opinion of Strandberg.}

Oh Ed a was talking to Norwegianred about this in the last 48hrs! A thought it was Hamiltonbhoy who flagged him up btw it was obviously you yeah he mentioned him said he would be good addition but a think he said there was a Molde? CH that was better? and suit RD our style much better a will try and find it because I asked him the very thing you are referring too atvb jb7 (y)

Stefan Strandberg is a better talent than Vegard Forren is, and he's 3-4 years younger and at the same time being good on the ball he is strong and good in positioning, and a comanding type player. He was captain for the norwegian u21 team who played bronzefinal in eurou21 in Israel a couple of years ago.

Vegard Forren has more experience, he is to good on the ball, he's fast and likes to carry the ball, starting attacks. He also usually scores between 5-10 goals during a season.

So it depends a bit on what you need and if experience is a factor?

Hi Ed

***************TEXT DELETED*********************

{Ed007's Note - You're starting to annoy me now. Your 'story' is just that, a story you've made up in your own tiny mind. I have never heard anyone else mention it and asked some of the people you are accusing who denied it. You'll need to try doing a bit better than that if you want to $hit-stir on here.
You've never before posted on here yet you come on here and your first ever post is a story with you making false accusations that has had no press coverage and I've not seen it mentioned anywhere else, the people involved don't even know what you're talking about. You even had the obligatory offended 'grandad' to tug at the heart strings, how can you tell my looking at someone if they're a grandfather, the guy might be a bachelor, never had any kids in his life or been gay? Was the granddad an asthmatic, by any chance? I'm only asking as a lot of our asthmatic support usually go to Fir Park when we're playing there.
A soon as I read your wee fairytale I suspected you're a hurting Zombie, otherwise you would know how ticket allocation works. It took me one phone call to find out that you were making it up.
My advise would either contact the club or, and I think this would be better for you, a doctor. Either will be able to help you but the doctor would do you a lot more good than contacting CFC.
I'm sure in this day and age of mobile phones with cameras you will have video or photographic evidence you can show the club or even go to the police with it, it's not as if you were directly involved and if you felt ssssoooo strongly about it you must have collated some evidence, the club will be glad to see this to help back up your complaint, were there no police at Fir Park?
It's not as if FoCUS aren't filming the CFC support at every game, you should contact them as well. They will have every CFC supporter that was at the game on video and will have coverage of anything like a near riot amongst our own supporters that only you seen.}

Haha, Bond strikes again :)

If there are loads of wingers out there that are affordable and better than Forrest Edd then that is an eye opener as to how useless out scouting guys have become. Wassako, Tonev, borrenger, all useless, I would think there goals/assists would be way less than Forrest's. I know of Anya, and would like him on the left but why are they not bringing these guys to the club if they are out there instead of these guys who's only interest is cutting inside and square passing. we need more from our wide men. Markie

{Ed007's Note - The three players you've mentioned from CFC play on the left, Forrest plays on the right as does Anya for Watford. I don't see how can you blame the scouts for James Forrest being garbage, it doesn't look like they have been told to look at RWs as we haven't signed or even loaned one in - yet.}

I never blamed them for Forrest being anything as he came through the youth system (your twisting my words lol) I blamed them for the 3 left wingers you mentioned that they brought in. Markie

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Where did I mention those three players in connection with antything to do with Forrest?}

Am I the only person that thinks there is a great player in Wakaso?

I watched him in the first Red Bull match and he looked like he was a class above everyone at celtic.

Agree0 Disagree2

{Ed007's Note - I was expecting more from him but I was quite looking forward to seeing what he could do, considering it's for non-footballing reasons he wants out of Russia he looked a tidy enough player over there.

Everyone seems to agree that we need a new centre half. Does anyone agree that with mulgrew out of form in the middle of the park he would be worth a shot at cb. After all that's where he has shown his best form for the club.

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Look down the page a dod; I also mentioned Mulgrew (or Lustig) and if we are not going to buy in the limited January window, it may be an option?

Agree0 Disagree1

Sorry jungle didn't see your post. I think I'd rather see lustig at rb. But mulgrew for me should be at cb or just not playing, this midfield role just isn't happening, (as a lot of people have prob already said in earlier posts)

Agree0 Disagree0

Eric botteghin of Groningen, centre back bought to replace vvd (I think, seem to remember)currently sitting top in player of the season in oranje football website, and Michael de leeuw also Groningen attacking mid but can play wide left or second striker one of the most consistant players in eredivise , both for 4-5 mill? plus we have plenty of players to offer in part exchange two to three most problematic areas covered in this pair

Agree0 Disagree0

Mulgrew Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I think he is prone like Ambrose to make at least one mistake a game and putting him in to the last man but one slot no one there to cover up his errors

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with tony, Mulgrew is another bombscare. Makes to many errors. Markie
