With Darren O'Dea training at Lennoxtown having left the Ukraine while looking for a new club, does anybody think he may be offered a deal to the end of the season as defensive cover?

ED007 I saw your posts regarding Thursday's vote and in the main I agree with you. My postal vote is already in and it is a massive YES.
Your thoughts on UKIP and that person Farage coming up to Scotland are spot on (although he will probably harm the NO vote more lol)
Also the orange order aligning with the tories (what a surprise that was) Scotland has never wanted a conservative government yet we are stuck with one, it is time for all Scotland to be tory free in a new democratic country.
All the scaremongering over loss of jobs, rising prices and all the banks abandoning the country are just that, scaremongering.
This will surpise some people but I would love on Friday to wake up to a new independent government led by Nicola Sturgeon who I think is the honest politician Scotland needs.

{Ed007's Note - That's all it is, Tim, scaremongering, threats and instilling fear in people, the NO campaign has not came up with one single positive to stay part of the Union, all they have to promote is their own negativity.}

A sign maybe? Today arch-bigot and extreme unionist has gone to meet like minded that have left us.

Good Job we weren't on our own when the credit crunch hit, bye bye Scottish Pound, Hello Euro. Hail Hail

I have to be honest here! I started as a NO (outwith Boris Johnson being the new PM)! But the biggest favour the NO campaign did to the YES campaign IMO was to start and say you are NOT having this and NOT having that, (currency/pound)! a few examples!, it was then I started to turn folks we have been oppressed for years!, Then I spoke toan old irish uncle of mine telling me that how lucky we were to have that for freedom his grandfather had been KILLED seeking the same thing! Enough said! Yesterday IMO they showed a really sneaky sneaky side IMO they went to retailers heads and encouraged them to tell us how things would be more expensive thinking we could not see there move! If we were that much of a LIABILITY? Surely they would be delighted/elated to "cut us lose"? ATVB

I'm a Yes voter but I don't buy into the 'stuck with a government we didn't vote for' argument. We had a Labour government for years under Tony Blair and look at the mess they helped us get into! Also I didn't vote for the SNP but I'm stuck with them for the moment. It's democracy so you need to take the rough with the smooth as I'm sure there are plenty of rich folk in Scotland who are over the moon with the job the Tories are doing. Another disappointment for me is George Galloway's stance on the matter. He's someone I've always admired for his willingness to ruffle feathers and go against the status quo at the expense of his public image in the press or amongst his peers. I went to see his 'Just say Naw' event in Dumbarton and thought the whole thing went against everything he's ever said in his career. I mentioned him because he's been getting a lot of abuse from Celtic fans on twitter due to his stance.

The fact that the Westminster MPS are almost a all backing No . Means people should vote YES .

Agree0 Disagree0

@jamiebhoy I echo everything you say I was no up until the same time as you. Also the I'm sick of the bbc's bias coverage and sly news as well but I would expect that from them. What I don't understand is that if we won't be able to stand alone and are being propped up by Westminster, then why the hell do they want us to stay. And another thing, I will never vote labour again.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I've been very impressed by Patrick Harvie throughout the campaign, I think a lot of people will look at that in the next election. Unless a Scottish Labour Party launches with traditional Labour values they must be finished in Scotland no matter what happens next week, they have shown that Labour and the Tories are just two cheeks of the same ar$e.}

Kev it's not that we don't sometimes get the government we vote for it's the simple fact our vote does not count as there are far more english votes to ours when labour has got in they would have done without scotlands vote and we have voted for the Tories 6 times in 36 years and had them about half those years so there for we are just a region and I for 1 think we should b a country our country SCOTLAND

To Kevbhoy yes very disappointed in George Galloway can't figure out his stance to briggs nice to hear it

Listened to Peter Hain the other night a man I liked and he said "Status Quo as we know it is OVER"! The welsh plaid cymru want it but IMO don't have the economy! they are now talking a TWO or THREE tier England! Upper / Lower or Upper / Central / Lower my biggest fear is we don't get a YES now and they plunder our oil for another 35 years or so!

They argue over the "Barnett formula" and that is a JOKE there is nothing constitutional about it! nothing "set in stone" for us for it! and yet two former deputy PM's in the tories have indicated had they got to power the first thing they would have done was take it from Scotland! it is worth to Scotland (and the rest of the UK) differing amounts about £7.800 per head per Scot and yet N Ireland get in excess of £8k per head so why attack Scotland first? when there is some other point/place taking more? It "smacks" of another "poll tax kicking" ie hit the Scots first! Anyone one who is/has ever been in Business is "happy to cut away dead wood" it is an ideal opportunity for the rest to say "away you go" "leave" but no . no. no we are to valuable even to the TORIES! who have NO seat here! A wonder why! ATVB JB7

A big yes from me. Practically all of my family are voting yes (and there are lots of them) all standing strong in the face of the intimidation from Westminster, ASDA, etc. What a faux pas that is from the supermarkets in Westminsters pocket, particularly in this day and age when some people are relying on food banks to survive. Lest we forget will have new meaning come the 19th. Galloways position is unfathomable to me, got at? defo! Patrick Harvie has been a bright light, can see the Greens vote taking a surge, perchance dream team with Nicola Sturgeon in a future coalition, she has been brilliant! Labour are doomed and they are getting everything they deserve for being imperial masters and servants!

Hi Ed, long time no post, been lurking about though. Anyway reading the posts on the referendum and just wanted to say whatever you do just vote yes. You have a chance in Scotland to ditch these charlatans down here, if the tories and so called labour are in bed together you know it stinks.
When you have your independence maybe folk down here will wake up to what people power can do and the scales may fall from folks eyes . Good luck and God bless. HH.

{Ed007's Note - Nice to hear from you, Andy and thanks for the support.}

As we aren't in the Champions League this season :-( then no, I do not want to play with just 1 striker up front.

Gimme 2!
