Just look at the club now with all of the dead weight gone, the players are more together and understand each other better. Well done Lennon and his team for becoming better in thier jobs, they seem to keep learning just like our players which just leads to great times ahead.

Whats all the sh*te about walters "return" hes never been at that club before, also what about that buffoon green offering the cousens less than his debt then stating "we will not offer to help any further. What a horrible human being,.,.kbarry

Believable10 Unbelievable2

It was a pathetic attempt by Greene to con a club who are struggling into accepting a quick fix to clear debt . Is there no shame felt by this man . And as for Sir Nosurname saying he's not there to interfere in football matters well WTF are you there for . To oversee the Adidas deal ? To negotiate the catering deal ? To be the designer of the new casino . Why didn't they just get a cardboard cut out and sit him in the stand so that McCoist could look up to when the team is playing crap........DH

Where's John Greig? He walked out and no-one has batted an eyelid since..Mrs E

Sir Nosurname has been brought in to
watch over Allys dismal managerial record. Whit a riddy for wee Ally.

Agree7 Disagree1

Totally agree and what about Sally The Snake? He has no self respect or dignity.
It was apparent that he was a ventriloquist doll as he stumbled through 'Managing For Dummies' with The Cardigans hand up his bum. What respect would players have for a boss that needs 'adult supervision' with all of his managerial duties.
What a feeble wee muppet.

Watty Cardigan has been brought in to help persuade reluctant Sevvies to buy into the share issue before the BDO go to town on them .

Celtic and Rangers reserves could play in revamped Scottish league setup

12 November 2012 17:02 GMT

Scottish Football League clubs will meet at Hampden on Wednesday to discuss the proposal.
Plans to include Celtic and Rangers reserve teams in the Scottish league setup will be discussed by Scottish Football League clubs on Wednesday.

A proposal is on the table to switch to a three-tier system, with a 16-team top flight, a 10-team First Division and an 18-team Second Division, the latter of which would feature the reserve sides of the two Glasgow clubs.

Also up for discussion will be when the new structure would be introduced, either for next season or the 2014/15 campaign. It is understood the latter is the more likely option.

The above is the latest ham fisted attempt to connive this new rangers into the top flight early to satisfy rangers investors concerns.

What rangers reserves?

Sevco are struggling to put a starting 11 on the park Nevermind a reserve team

Never a truer word said. All and any attempts will be put in place to get Newco back to the top flight at the expense of anyone. They will return debt free without one bit of punishment. It makes you sick!

Agree3 Disagree0

Longmuir at the SFL doesn't appear to be too bright with this ill advised latest proposal. If he had brains he would've come up with something that might get the nod from the spl teams not a model for failure. No spl team would vote for this.

So disappointed in the attendance , where were the 30,000 that were watching Barca ? Are we now going down the road where we have a lot of jump on the Band wagon support ? The ame wasnt even on the tv. celtic needs all the revenue it can. Disgruntled.

Believable7 Unbelievable3

Agreed. I know a lot of people my age who have been to 2 games a season for the last 4 seasons and before that only 5 games a season, Old Firm games CL games (even Europa League wasnt prestigious enough) and if you asked them on the Tuesday what was the score vs Inverness at the weekend they couldn't tell you. They are glory hunters who aren't real Celtic supporters. Granted some of them are under financial restraints but the amount of fans that jump on here before a CL game looking for tickets is ridiculous, the real fans are the ones that stuck it out with Mowbray and when we went 5 seasons without a trophy and will be there again on the 24th for the ICT game regardless of what happens in Lisbon.

I had a season Ticket from when the new stadium opened, until the beginning of last season. Cant afford to go anymore. Mortgage and family comes first. Last time I was there was John Kennedy's testamonial. it's getting too dear now. I know guys that were at the game on Wednesday, but not saturday, due to work commitments. these things have to be taken into consideration when asking where the crowd was, or calling fans 'part-timers'

I think for a lot of people 2 trips in a week is too much especially those who travel a great distance ie from Ireland or down south

Agree2 Disagree4

I travel up from wales twice a week now if i had kids that would be difficult i have just started to relise that as were i used to think if i can do it why cant others but each and every one of us find ourselves in diffrent situations with finaces i count myself very lucky there are fans realy upset they can no longer attend but when a big mach comes up its there chance to treat themself

Agree4 Disagree0

@ 2,3 & 4: Fair points, I know some people cannot make every game, and Barca or St Johnstone is a no brainer but it is the fans who only come out the woodwork when there is a big game on and join in all the glory a few times a year but dont want to know when its Killie at home on a cold day that myself and the OP find irritating.

Every time we have a poor attendance it always goes back to the same old 'you're not a real fan' nonsense! Never mind the economic situation, some of us have to work most Saturday and Sundays to keep the rest of you fed and your pints filled up so don't tell me am not a real fan because I can't get to every game.

Now I know we will win the league but
if rangers were still alive and playing
in the spl there would be a lot of unhapy
supporters asking questions...col {Ed013's Note - If they were still in the league I feel Celtic would approach it in different manner}

Believable5 Unbelievable3

IF we are to win the league we need to buck up our ideas and also utilise more squad players as every team we play in the SPL has fancied their chances and we rarely keep a clean sheet any more.
At present there are only 8pts between the top eight places so we need to get the finger out and find the same consistency of last season. If anything the CL run should have boosted confidence and not an excuse or distraction stopping us winning league games - especially at Celtic Park.

Problem is the Celtic players and everyone else know that they can afford to lose 7 or 8 games in the SPL and still win at a canter. With the european fixtures it's a different ball game and the players have to knuckle down and perform. It's human nature, as Ed says, if Rangers were still in the SPL, it would be a totally different ball game. bigbaz

I used to stay in aberdeen and went to many a game on the regent bridge bar supporters bus. I haven't been up for a couple of years but I'm sure the boozer is still there. Its down near the docks just across from where the ships are moored and owned by a fantastic chap by the name of Frankie. Hope this helps
