Well, it really is the best feeling in the world!

Thought we were brilliant yesterday with the exception of Boyata's blunders. Don't think he should have started but who cares now. Rest of the team showed great fight!

Rodgers reactions to our goals was brilliant to see, he was as buzzing as us! Tactically he showed his worth when we went down to 10 men!

Can't wait to put them out the semi next month! We will have a full strength team to choose from then.

Behind twice. Debutant keeper and centre half who I thought were both excellent. (Henry wasn't slow to tell his team mates nobody was talking to him after he'd put ball behind for a corner when there was no need. He looked more of a centre half than our first choice centre halfs. ) Anothef centre halfs first game back. Players pelted with missiles when taking corners. Sectarian march organised beforehand (what's new there eh) . Linesman doing the bouncy shouting 'red card red card it's got to be a feckn red card ref'. Then put to the sword by 10 men. Grifiths flying the tri-colour and tying scarf to Broomloan Rd stand. Broonie with sun glasses and tap aff at the end. What part do you think made UJ and his fellow follow followers the sickest. It must be nearly enough to make ye sell yir sash and buy a set of rosary beads. Oh aye. and this is the glorious 12th. Long may it continue. Well done Brendan. Edourde on up beside Dembelle to finish them off was the shout. God Bless the Celtic for giving me another memorable day.

Teirney needs a rest, Let him have a break now, Motherwell and the international break don't need him for these games. Two weeks on a beach.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

12 Mar 2018 19:25:10
Don't think he would thank you if he was told to have a break. He would probably turn up for training anyway. He's up there with Tommy Burns for his love of the club, refreshing to see in the game nowadays.

12 Mar 2018 23:48:44
The amount of tackles he just dusts off is remarkable. Took a few kicks early on against servo as well. Till commper is up to speed and we can play a flat back 4 with him at LB he has to start. There's just no tested cover there atm. With Scotland not up to much this summer I'm guessing the wee man will want to play every game and take his rest when it comes. We just need to get back to finishing a team off early doors and rotate a few lads early 2nd half if they have plenty of mins to thier names this season.

Just noticed the Bain save on the line. I originally thought it bounced into it gut, but he actually showed really quick hands. Better save than i realised.

Believable7 Unbelievable0

12 Mar 2018 17:49:36
A thought bain played really well, he wasn't at fault for the goals and he made a couple of good saves. Midfield was good, dembele was great but deary me big boyata has lost the plot, what was he trying to do for their first? Man of the match, wee griff in the stand. On a side note did anyone see Jamie carragher the durty b@st@rd, spitting at a 14 year old girl.

Agree3 Disagree0

12 Mar 2018 18:53:09
He was really caught cold at their first goal and must have been affected by the atrocious defending, but he came onto a very good game, making some important saves and good distribution.
He will now get a run in the side and a chance to stake a claim.

Agree3 Disagree0

12 Mar 2018 18:58:17
I actually thought Hendry done well when he came on and in hindsight I think I’d preferred him to start instead of boyata . For a player that hasn’t played for six weeks to be brought straight in would be ok if he was van dijk but boyata? There’s always a mistake in him, my hearts in my mouth every time he plays a 10 yard pass into our midfield as I’m expecting him just to pass straight to the opposition. It’s been said on here many times before but surely we have to look at new centre backs for next season, not only for Europe but domestically . There has to be loads in our price range that would improve us.

Agree2 Disagree0

12 Mar 2018 21:47:50
I thought Bain went down to quick at the first goal. If he had stayed big he'd have saved it. But after that he went on to have a great game and made I real important contribution.

I was saying to my mate during the game that rangers missed a trick. After that Boyata blunder I would of had every player tight and pressing the rest of our back line and had "sloth" charging him every time he was left open and the only option for a pass. Clowns
(Better not post that) can't be giving the game away now would We?

I posted last week and said that when the chips are down Dembele would step up and show who the man is and he did that yesterday. Didn't have his best game ever but stuck the ball away when it mattered, unlike El Gruffalo.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - I see Dembele's been called up to the French squad for their upcoming friendlies. I thought he had a great game yesterday playing the lone striker, are you forgetting his exquisite pass to set up Edouard too?}

12 Mar 2018 11:35:20
That’s brilliant news! Odd considering his form last season and he couldn’t get a call up. I was very impressed but I just remember his touch being a bit heavy at times when we needed a breather. Hopefully now the “debate” will be put to bed.

Agree2 Disagree0

12 Mar 2018 11:41:14
Twas a smashing pass! I sometimes think the gaffer gives him a tough job, playing this 1 attacker thing. Edouard was something else again when he came on tho. Would love to see these two starting regularly. I was quite skeptical about the lad, but I think I'd take a punt on him now.

Agree2 Disagree0

12 Mar 2018 11:47:21
Spot on Ed. I thought Dembele played great and was very unselfish. His work rate was excellent and he pressed their defence well.

The big thing is he timed his run and finished exquisitely. Very clever player.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Mar 2018 12:33:14
Edouarde has had very limited game time, but when he is asked to do a job he never let's us down and some of his goals are real quality.
I appreciate we would never spend the apparent asking price of £7m on one player, but I would love us to negotiate a deal to keep him here next season at least - especially if Moussa is leaving?

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Mar 2018 13:33:17
Why would we never though OaB? PL has said himself we could. And if we did sell Dembele, what would you say? 15, 20, 25 million? If we sold one striker for that much and still weren't prepared to spend 7 on a replacement it would stink something rotten.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Mar 2018 17:21:39
7 million will be money well spent. The lads still in his teens and has massive potential under Rodgers. Moussa will go in the summer and hopefully the big man makes the French world cup squad and generate 1 hell of a transfer fee for us.

Agree1 Disagree0

12 Mar 2018 10:46:38
Just watched the replay highlights, was definitely a red card, and it was deliberately executed, Jozo takes a wee look first, maybe the linesman picked up on the deliberateness of it and that's why he got excited, Brendan must take a lot of responsibility for how poorly the defence played, no point in playing guys in positions that they are no use in, the gulf in class between the two teams was obvious, was like watching a wee team raising their game against a team from a higher level, who were having an off day, defence wise, if Morales had been sharper, it could have been supercalifragilistic all over again.

Believable1 Unbelievable5

12 Mar 2018 11:08:16
I agree it was a red card but he never struck that hard. Thought the guy had been smacked with a sledgehammer.
Stupid, stupid thing to do.

Agree1 Disagree0

12 Mar 2018 18:14:15
Although I agree it could have been given as a red card a lot of the other decision were nothing more than mind boggling like McGregor on the Servco right hand side of the 18 yard box kicks it past the defender the defender steps in front him and they get the foul how does that work? And a lot more decision that were blatant help to Servco.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Mar 2018 22:31:03
Aindoh, it's more like the assistants bigoted blood boiled over .
He was an embarrassment to his profession.

I imagine W Collum would have been a very angry man on Sunday evening, he destroyed whatever little reputation as a ref that he has in his bias and corrupt display and with his assistant not able to control himself and at the end of the day it was all in vain Celtic won . Another memorable day 10 men won the league
10Celts against 13-14 Rangers and Officals.

Agree0 Disagree0

Believable3 Unbelievable1

12 Mar 2018 10:17:39
Broony has developed into a real leader. It was noticeable that Ajer, KT and Ollie Bhoy were all over him at the end. And my god he loves playing in that environment.

Agree2 Disagree0

12 Mar 2018 13:47:42
Broony was an acquired taste with me and to be fair it did take him a season or two to get to his best with what he had to deal with.
However, he has grown into a superb and influential captain who lifts and motivates the players around him and has no little skill as well.
He will be so difficult to replace, but without International games, hopefully we have another few fine seasons of his onfield leadership.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Mar 2018 22:24:30
Some of the slow learners were not slow at letting Brown know what they thought of him
We rarely have had as good a captain as Brown, maybe better players as captains but as a leader of men, very few matched him.

imo, having watched the replay, it was probably a red card. That said, the antics of the linesman leave a lot to be desired.
I was under the impresswion that the linesman duty is to raise his flag to indicate a concern etc. to the referee. NOT jump up and down like a kid in a bouncy castle shouting RED, RED, RED.
Now, did the ref ask his opinion in the split-second between the incident and the zebedee antics? I doubt it. He never had time to raise his flag but he did make sure the ref knew his decision.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

12 Mar 2018 09:20:13
The refs and assistants are all wearing mics. They are constantly talking. It's his job to inform the ref he thinks it was a red. And it was a red he was right.
But he took great pleasure in it and was unprofessional with how much glee he showed in it.
That's what's got up my nose.

Agree0 Disagree1

12 Mar 2018 09:46:39
I wasn't convinced there was any contact at the time, but watching it again this morning, I would say the fact that he raised his elbow across his chin and the antics of both the linesman and the wee oompa loompa made it a formality for Collum; plus Simunovic (who had another very dodgy afternoon) made little protest or appeal.
The defense needs major investment for next season as it's not just how many we are conceding, but the farcical amount of errors.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Mar 2018 10:21:45
It’s not that it couldn’t have been given. It’s the fact that if that was Alves on Moussa, the Rangers season ticket holder wouldn’t have reacted like that, or called for a red. That’s the difference. We get punished for it, they wouldn’t have.

The reckless tackle on Rogic didn’t even get a foul. Tory boy is obviously a passionate Sevconian and reacted as a fan, rather than an impartial linesman.

It’s the inconsistency and interpretation that suits them when it matters. Tory boy showed clearly he is unfit to hold any place officiating a game. He should be employed by Rangers Comedy Gold TV. He would fit right in.

Agree1 Disagree1

12 Mar 2018 11:25:48
When big Jozo is at chapel last night and he’s telling people it’s a red then it’s a red.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Mar 2018 22:18:45
I wouldn't have much fault with Jozo's red card if ref McCollum had carded Rangers players for some atrocious tackling . By that stage Rangers 2012 could easily have 2 reds and three/ four yellows . It wasn't incompetent refereeing, it wasn't the normal anti - Celtic cheating, it was corrupt .
I have watched the game for nearly 60 yrs and I have never seen an assistant giving his views so readily without been asked .
Has anyone else seen the like of that.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Mar 2018 08:00:07
Only In our wee bigoted country could u have a unionist Tory as a linesman who can't send jozo off quick enough. The UB March and polis did hee haw to stop it even after Seeing the appalling flyer reminiscent of the klan. And once again the Celtic players being intimidated and pelted with lighters every time they went to take a corner. will the sfa spfl do anything or are they going to wait till someones seriously hurt.
