Have a look at the excellent site. They have drafted a letter to UEFA asking for an investigation of possible collusion in the SFA statements to the LNS enquiry. A very well researched and reasoned article. I fail to see how UEFA cannot act on this as they now have a dedicated site for exactly this sort of thing. green jhedi {Ed007's Note - The link never came through GJ, try posting it again starting from the www part, no http:}

The Rangers Football Club Plc (in liquidation). The issue isn't Plc, the issue is "Football Club". It was a football Club that also happened to be a public limited company, as required by international football regulations. Not two distinctly legal separate entities, a club and a corporation which can be separated and dealt with as differing legal entities.

It's a bit like saying British Telecom is a corporation but its nothing to do with the Telecommunications part of it.

Or Hertz is a corporation but nothing to do with the car hire part of it.

Scottish Football League clubs are being asked to consider allowing 'colt teams' from Celtic and Rangers to join a new four division set-up

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21763900

Not for me and cannot see the benefit. Who would go and see them play? Where would they play?

What has been demonstrated by the last year is that Scottish football never needed the old rangers FC to survive. Once it died life went On and a good season has been enjoyed. The new The Rangers International club isn't needed either, but Scotland's lowest tier clubs are enjoying two larger attendances a season which is good news for low level football in Scotland.
Longmuir of the SFL is in the media today with Celtic and Rangers colt teams guff. It's a bribe to SFL teams to allow Rangers to overtake them to the second top 12 division.
Rangers are currently fielding their wee boys in the lowest div and will be in the lowest div next year, so how would that work Longmuir?
Longmuir, to me, bends over backwards for Rangers and has the biggest pro Rangers agenda of all.
How does 12-12-10-10 provide a pyramid? It's ridiculous and only being proposed so that Rangers can move up a division and not play the same teams next year.
Last year we were told Rangers were the only club wanting to enter SFL football and didn't skip, say, cove rangers. Now magically there's at least two teams wanting in! Unbelievable Longmuir!

Im sure I've said this before but does anyone else feel like league reconstruction is similar to south parks underpants gnomes but with a slight twist (namely not about underpants)

Phase 1 - reconstruct league

Phase 2-.

Phase 3 - profit.

@Shammy I had two bets both Lucky 15's
First one bombed.
Second gave me one winner Champagne Fever (13/2)
Tullamore Dew placed at (25/1)Took price paid off with winner returned 5/1 but let me down with placed as 33/1 returned.
This bet pays 3 times odds 1 winner, then I have a place double so just about broke even. Oh well still got my kitty for tomorrow Timalloy
PS Shammy always bet each way especially with big fields at Cheltenham with 4 or 5 places.

Wheeling another SPL player from Hearts out on SLY to state why 'The Rangers' should be back in SPL.
It's too blatant to be a conspiracy and more than a campaign staged managed by sympathetic and hypocritical media loyal to Rangers 2 the sequel.
There seems to be more to this latest league reconstruction than a matter of 'improvement'?
I am not blinkered or biased, as to see how the absence of The Clone Rangers has had implications on competativenes, finances/TV revenue but:-
They are a liquidated team bereft of SPL status or membership and have re-formed as Replica Rangers in the bottom tier - which is their honest and rightful place until they gain several promotions like dear departed Gretna achieved in the last decade.
The silence from Scottish Government, Press, Media and Football authorities since Feb 2012 indicates a:- if they don't say it it can't be true mentality.
If this apparent groundswell to elevate Team Trialist is not challenged and vetoed by all fair-minded football people then anarchy reigns and Scottish football loses any dregs of self respect it has left.

rangers fan here, come in peace lol

right guys I posted this on the rangers rumours site and got good feedback just looking to see what you guys think too.

my way forward for football

uefa /fifa gather all player data and statistics from the past 3 years and base the transfer system on it ie,
passes made, goals scored, assists, tackles won, interceptions etc etc etc you get the picture and then have a player rating system ie
level 1 player = messi, ronaldo signing fee of say 30m and wages of 100k
level 2 player= gareth bale, iniesta, xavi etc etc say signing fee of 29.5m and wages of say 95k
so on and so on, there could be literally hundreds of levels and please don't have a go if iv missed a player or if you think one player I've mentioned isn't as good as another or if my figures are wrong its just an idea I think has a wee bit o clout tae it lol
discuss.
as a said a come in peace, a don't want to leave in pieces cheers guys

Im really getting worried about the Psychological health of our blue Rangers friends. I beleive after reading about loss that they are stuck in in some sort of greif limbo and experiences a mixture of all phases at once. At least the SPL and SFL and SFA appear to have gotten to stage 6, although they have got there by beleiving their own denial of events.

Here are the stages - "1. SHOCK & DENIAL-
You will probably react to learning of the loss with numbed disbelief. You may deny the reality of the loss at some level, in order to avoid the pain. Shock provides emotional protection from being overwhelmed all at once. This may last for weeks.

2. PAIN & GUILT-
As the shock wears off, it is replaced with the suffering of unbelievable pain. Although excruciating and almost unbearable, it is important that you experience the pain fully, and not hide it, avoid it or escape from it with alcohol or drugs.

You may have guilty feelings or remorse over things you did or didn't do with your loved one. Life feels chaotic and scary during this phase.

3. ANGER & BARGAINING-
Frustration gives way to anger, and you may lash out and lay unwarranted blame for the death on someone else. Please try to control this, as permanent damage to your relationships may result. This is a time for the release of bottled up emotion.

You may rail against fate, questioning "Why me?" You may also try to bargain in vain with the powers that be for a way out of your despair ("I will never drink again if you just bring him back")

4. "DEPRESSION", REFLECTION, LONELINESS-
Just when your friends may think you should be getting on with your life, a long period of sad reflection will likely overtake you. This is a normal stage of grief, so do not be "talked out of it" by well-meaning outsiders. Encouragement from others is not helpful to you during this stage of grieving.

During this time, you finally realize the true magnitude of your loss, and it depresses you. You may isolate yourself on purpose, reflect on things you did with your lost one, and focus on memories of the past. You may sense feelings of emptiness or despair.

7 Stages of Grief.

5. THE UPWARD TURN-
As you start to adjust to life without your dear one, your life becomes a little calmer and more organized. Your physical symptoms lessen, and your "depression" begins to lift slightly.

6. RECONSTRUCTION & WORKING THROUGH-
As you become more functional, your mind starts working again, and you will find yourself seeking realistic solutions to problems posed by life without your loved one. You will start to work on practical and financial problems and reconstructing yourself and your life without him or her.

7. ACCEPTANCE & HOPE-
During this, the last of the seven stages in this grief model, you learn to accept and deal with the reality of your situation. Acceptance does not necessarily mean instant happiness. Given the pain and turmoil you have experienced, you can never return to the carefree, untroubled YOU that existed before this tragedy. But you will find a way forward.

7 stages of grief.

You will start to look forward and actually plan things for the future. Eventually, you will be able to think about your lost loved one without pain; sadness, yes, but the wrenching pain will be gone. You will once again anticipate some good times to come, and yes, even find joy again in the experience of living. "

Can someone please ensure that they seek immediate help for their problems, as burying the truth in denial is not the way to deal with things. Trust me I know as I've battled my own demons before as have many others.

To Rangersnites there is help out there and some of us wish to offer an olive branch so you can resume your lifes and hopefully have bright and fruitful futures.

Some of us do care

guys and girls, I know that they, the rangers can't be fast tracked back to the top sanction free. that just wouldn't be morally correct. yes they got away with murder, but the league is better with them in it. to do that we would have to ''ALLOW'' them to jump two leagues. how would you feel if ''WE LET '' them back with a twenty point deduction for two years. the mess they're in right now they would be lucky not to be relegated anyway. and the pieman is the worst manager in scottish football. he can't be sacked, chuckie is giving him a ten year contract, and he can't walk away, he doesn't do that, now before all you bears start growling. if you were back, you could double the price of tickets, which might address the £1m a month loss. to all my fellow tims, just think how good it would be to hump them four times every season, I don't like it either, but you know it makes sense. shammy

@BigBear; Having read some of your posts before I would agree with ED007, you seem to be a sensible football fan. I have seen posts from you congratulating Celtic and posts where you give some clog, never out of order I might add just good fan slagging, but your stance regarding your club is astonishing. While I get the same team stance, I would assume a lot of Celts would adopt the same outlook were it us, the facts tell a different story.

Regarding licences; "the licence applicant may only be a football club" This a UEFA rule and as such is an SFA rule. No mention of holding or parent companies. The club own the licence.
Re the transfer of a licence; The SFA stated that "The Scottish FA stated to Rangers Scotland Ltd that they had to accept responsibility for any sanctions arising out of this case as a condition of TRANSFER OF MEMBERSHIP" If your club is the same club as "oldco" why would they need to transfer the licence to another club? Why would you need to transfer the membership?

The fact is that the original licence holder was " The rangers Football PLC (in liquidation)" From the 27th of may 1899 this entity held the licence.
On the 29th of May 2012 the licence transferred to "The Rangers Football Club" The only history that continues in this is the SFA licence.

The oldco are dead and hold no licence or membership. The newco do hold a licence and membership. Oldco had 140 years of history. Newco have around 12 months of history.

Another point is the share issue. fans have not invested in the Team, that is the licence/membership holder. The actual investment is with "The Rangers International Football Club PLC" No SFA licence/membership = no club.

Finally. The old clubs two most recent parent/holding companies were;
The Rangers Football Club PLC (in liquidation) Namely Murray International Holdings. And.
The Rangers FC Group Ltd, formally Wavetower Ltd, 100% owned by Liberty Capital. Both are still in a position to trade. RFC 2012, formally The Rangers Football club, incorporated 27th May 1899, Former SFA member and licence holder are not. In conclusion BigBear, yes your colours may be the same, your badge may be the same and you may play at the same groung but you have a new club. To claim anything else would be madness, no?. green jhedi

Gretna also play in same stadium and same strip but have old licence but not same club Gretna fc (2008)

Oldco never came out of admin/liquidation therefore the timeline is broken and they are called The Rangers on Puma website.

Followed on by jardine and the mob and ever since threats are issued as necessary even keevins was targeted on friday night ssb

just a wee thought regarding the imposters. their deluded fans claim it was the holding company that went bust. correct me if i'm wrong but didn't the taxman knock back the cva because the players ni and paye didn't get payed. well surelythe players were employees of the club not the holding company, and I don't recall any of the payers who refused to tupe over going to another holding company. no they left a dead club and therfore were free agents if the club were still alive uefa and fifa would not have allowed this.
