Really hoping for some movement on the transfer front this week. I know BR likes to keep his business quiet so it's unlikely we are going to hear lots of rumours.

I am aware that we have just won a domestic treble unbeaten but we need to continue strengthening to give us a realistic shot at doing well in CL and to continue our domestic dominance.

IMO, we need to look at these key areas:

GK - Gordon has got better but you only have to look at the SCO vs ENG game to see he is liable to still make silly mistakes.

DEF - A quality CB to partner Jozo as I think Erik is too short to be a quality CH and Boyata although has improved tenfold, he still a bit shaky with ball at his feet.

MID - Need to sign a RW to replace Paddy unless he comes back which would obviously be the best scenario. Also, someone to compete with Rogic in that CAM role.

ST - We need someone to play 3rd choice ST behind Moussa and Griff. Someone who offers a different option.

I doubt we will sign players in all these areas but I think we need at least 3 quality additions. Celtic have failed too many times in the past to capitalise on times of dominance - will be different under BR I hope.

Certainly the first three are my priorities. I'd just give Aitchison a chance to be honest providing we keep Dembele and Griffiths. I'd like to see another attacking midfielder as well as a RAM/ RW though.

If we are looking for back up players give the youth a chance but if we are buying a striker make it someone who is total different from what we have and is going to compete and push for a place.

I think Brendan should look for a new keeper. Gordon should have saved the first goal and should have come and got the ball at the second. Yes he's been a good keeper but it's time for a change especially if we are to progress in Europe.

he was not great for the goals. at the end of the day his Celtic career should in no way judged on a Scotland game. the guys should loyalty to us by not moving in January for more cash and he has worked on his game big time over this season. i had my doubts earlier in the season but he deserves to be our number.

I'm not judging him on one game, he's been fantastic for us. He is prone to a few errors and think there should be a new keeper targeted for Europe if we are looking to progress.

If he has been fantastic he deserves his place this season. the second goal he should have came for the ball. but your expecting that dick charlie Mulgrew to actually mark there most dangerous player in the last minute when a ball is punted in to him.

What concerned me on Saturday was CG not using the full backs when he had the ball at his feet. Seen it often enough in the SPL too where he kicks it up field and more often than not it ends up being a stray ball and we lose possession. I think CG had a good season for us but these things need to be addressed we can't lose possession so cheaply in the CL.

If we want to improve then we need to try and improve all aspects of the team. If there's a better keeper than CG available for the right price then I'd be happy enough if BR replaced him.

well that would be the players fault then not Gordon? If you are playing a 352 its hard to play from the back. wing backs sit further forward so i don't agree with that. if the striker and the attacking midfielder split the center halfs your going to have to go long unless you are Barcelona. if Kane splits Mulgrew and KT would you give the ball to Berra? Gordons improvements been huge this season. its a nonsense saying he should be dropped.

Gordon's never came for crosses he's great with reaction saved it beggars belief why a keeper his size doesn't come and catch the ball but he's been great for us this season Mulgrew or Gordon should have dealt with a looping ball like that but it's small details like that what makes the difference. Anyhow who cares about Scotland as long as Celtic are winning a couldn't give a monkeys.

Campsie bhoy you don't care that the Celtic goalkeeper was at fault for both of England's goal's because it was for Scotland and not Celtic sorry but that is not the brightest statement what if it was for Celtic and it was the final qualifier for champion's league would you have gave a crap then?

It isn't easy for a goalkeeper to play with defenders who are playing a different system than he is used to. Remember De Vires couldn't save a shot of any kind when he was introducing the Celtic defence to come short and link up for clearances .
Gordon came back in and worked hard with his defence and midfield and finally developed his link - up play very well and also kept goals very well with many excellent saves .
I didn't think Celtic fans were that annoyed about Scotland and how the team plays .
To me, I am more interested in club form and for that reason I am very happy with Gordon in goaks . I think we need to strengthen other positions first and when we have sorted the outfield positions, if we have money left and can sign a younger better keeper than Gordon, do so.

who cares what gordon did in a scotland game? its what he does in a celtic shirt im interested in, all 3 trophies won and unbeaten domestically, so he can't be that bad a keeper, and any celtic fan who supports scotland after the treatment given to our players over the years by scotland fans needs to have a good hard look at themselves.
