I know this may sound crazy but........Does anyone think it would be worth Celtics while giving Frank Lampards agents a call? Clearly not wanted ar Chelski and IMO isn't motivated by money anymore so why not?
Personally I think its a non starter but surely worth the cost of a call...........thoughts bhoys

Did anyone hear radio shortbread tonight ? Speaking about the reconstruction of the game, Mr george peat the former top man at the sfa was part of it. Now call me cynical but this guy has done nothing but be well paid for little or no return to the Scottish game. To top it off they interviewed that dirty pipe smoking bigot donald findlay ?? God only knows why, result radio off ! Our media is full of bottle merchants & apologists for the biggest bunch of thieving & scamming shower that is Rangers ! AbS

It has always puzzled me that in a country so obsessed with sectarianism that some chosen bigots are allowed to prosper. Finlay was exposed singing questionable songs, Goram boasted about what he called Pierre, using not just sectarian language but racist as well, yet the pair of them are given air time. Why? Jeeze, Goram even has a column in a national chip wrapper!........green jhedi

Hi Guys, Love the site keep up the good work. I think I have read on here a couple of transfer windows ago that we were supposedly looking at the SK Brann Striker Kim Ojo. I happened to watch a SK Brann game a while back and I was very impressed he is big, fast, strong just the sort of striker we are lacking in my opinion. What you think ed? Cheers lads {Ed007's Note - I posted a video of Kim Ojo a few weeks ago. Although you shouldn't judge a player solely from Youtube it gives you some kind of idea of his attributes. Seen this on a Rangers Facebook page:-
It is a great to hear so many SPL AND SFA head sheds talk about fan power and Integrity. Well listen to 40% of the football fans that go to games they are Rangers Fans
You have no integrity at all and we have the fan power and you lot are jealous. Because we don't surrender
CHIEF EXECUTIVE Charles Green finds it incredible that Rangers have been ignored and excluded from the decision-making process in the restructuring of the Scottish game.
While virtually every club in the country is struggling financially and barely filling their stadium, Rangers are thriving as all of the investment plans made by the consortium have come to fruition.
-------
Would someone explain to me then:-
1. What happened on 14th Feb 2012 and why ? Was it anything to do with 'stuggling finanacially' ?
2. Has 'barely filling their stadium' caused any other team in the SPL to go down the tubes, out of all the SPL team last season who was not living within their means ?
3. 'Rangers are thriving' ? Based on what track record, was their certified accounts published and we all missed it ?
4. Does having say for arguments sake having the biggest fan base in the whole wide world buy you 'power and intergrity'. Can someone from Rangers please give their definition of Sporting Integrity ?
5. 'You have no integrity at all' Who & why ?
6. 'Charles Green finds it incredible that he has been ignored'. He knows why he is being 'ignored' and is spitting the dummy as he arrogantly assumed any reconstruction would include fast tracking his £5.5m purchase into the SPL.
7. 'Because we don't surrender' pppffft, I think you'll find you did, watched as John Grieg walked out and never batted an eyelid and ignored every obvious warning sign (4IAR nae dough?)

I think common sense would say they ceased to exist in the old form but wanted continuity to stand for the same Neanderthal bigoted morals they have in the past....they will never be trusted to scale any heights in Scottish football without any honesty, it's one thing to have loadsamoney to gain an advantage in a stagnant league but to hock everything under the sun,
Dodge paying your debts and then complain about treatment while rubbing everybody's nose in it that you are the same club as before nobodies fooled

Green Judge, what gets me is Chuckles is whipping some of them into such a frenzy they are ignoring blatant facts.
The ONLY club to have recently suffered from financial difficulties so severe they went down the tubes is RFC.
The ONLY club currently subject to an investigation & allegations of cheating that could lead to title stripping is RFC.
What is wrong with some folk ? Mrs E

I believe they are still ignoring every obvious warning sign. Green is panicking. I would guess he is relying on increasing the price of season tickets next season to cover costs. They have no other obvious source of income. If the restructure goes ahead he won't be able to increase prices. Share issue is done. I think they may struggle in 2013. This is all purely my opinion, I could be proved wrong once the finances are published.

@ Mrs E; That post kinda tells it's own story for me Mrs E. "we have the fan power, we don't surrender" What a load of nonsense, but exactly the outcome green and mccoist would be looking for. They still use terms like demoted and punished not to forget the boot going in, but the reality is if they were treated as per the rules(you notice i don't say punished) they would not be in any league. No accounts no league place. This is all financial, green has to maintain his siege mentality as he will have to justify a season book rise next season.........green jhedi

Mrs E, agree with what you're saying, even the skeletons in the cupboard are feeling overcrowded and threatening to mutiny...there's more to come from Chico Greens laughter

So it would seem Chuckie's up to his old tricks again.Listening to BBC it would appear that Longmuir has been giving informal briefings to green. Both Young and English stated this.If true is it any wonder this guy thinks he can do and say what he likes? Why the briefings? Why would green lie about being "closed out" of discussions. This guy is gonna cause mayhem with his pandering to the worst part of his clubs support. The fact his pet puppet mccoist backs him only worsens the whole mess.............green jhedi

Hasn't Chuckie changed his tune?
At the beginning of the season he said he accepted Div 3 football. Now he doesn't even accept SCOTTISH football in it's proposed format.
Maybe he's gearing up for his own new creation, a version of football called "Cross-Dressing Topless Football On Ice" where Sally McMoist leads out the team each week with a triple salco to the tune of "Ice, Ice Chuckie." I can't see it catching on myself.

Report from the Falkirk Herald. " Falkirk fans were involved in brawl before last weeks game against Hamilton . A helicopter was deployed to fly over New Douglas Park during the first half of the game . Five males aged 21, 20, 19, 18, and 16 reportedly Falkirk fans along with four Hamilton fans were arrested after a scuffle broke out on John St . This morning (Friday) another nine men were arrested in the Falkirk area " . Compare this to the "mass riots " of Boxing Day where the worst behaviour since the seventies were witnessed and FOUR arrests were made . No mention in any red top about this especially with 18 arrests and a police helicopter involved . But hey it was only a scuffle .......DH

2) You just don't get do you . I posted the report from Falkirk because there was more arrests, a battle in the street and a helicopter was involved but no report in our MSM . As GJ says the Dundee game was covered by ESPN who have countless cameras and what was Dundee CCTV doing at the time . I'm not saying there wasn't misbehaviour but the outcry in the media was a joke . And by the way were you there or are you just believing the Tim minded press.......DH

i did'nt see chuckie and the piemans rants on tv but iv'e read them today in the paper. '' we have reached settlements with all of the european clubs and shown the character of rangers by paying debts that WEREN'T OURS '' surely that's admitting that they are a totally different club . but no, in the same statement, the next sentence is . ''that has been recognised by the european clubs assossiation . just before christmas, they sent a letter saying they recognised the current rangers was the old rangers and we are still that elite club'' now surely if the second sentence is right, then the first is wrong, if it's the same club, it was their debt he payed . this clown must have the memory of a r******* goldfish, if he can contradict himself in the same statement.. shammy

I think all the pressure is starting to tell shammy. They have been punting this ECA nonsense for weeks now, THEY ARE NOT UEFA! This is a cabal of clubs, funded by UEFA, to shut them them up.If they are recognised as the same club, why would the ECA not grant them full membership? Could the reason for this heads in the sand stuff is green knows they will have to give up titles? If the ruling goes against them then green and mccoist will no doubt be rallying the hordes with cries of injustice. What i look forward to is how the SFA will cope when The rangers win the league. Lets see what they print on their official blurbs. First trophy or continued historical continuation?............green jhedi

For next season Celtic won't need to do the hard sell for season books . This tit Green is doing it for them . " Who's going to buy Celtic season books without an Old Firm game " . Err me for one . Here's another few gems from the ex Yorkshire coal miner . " Yous lot (SFA ) think your Mother Theresa giving out money to lower clubs " . Err Glinty I think you will find Mother Theresa had no money and tended the sick in third world countries . " I've just been giving the attendance figures yesterday and only Man Utd, Arsenal and Newcastle have higher average crowd a than us . Even if you put Celtic into it who have played CL games their average is lower than us " . I thought it was reported that Celtic had the 3rd biggest home gates in the UK but Charlie knows best . Dh, i never missed a celtic game from the age of 10 to 22 home and away . i have never had a season ticket because at 22 i started working shifts and that's 35 years ago, and shift paterns mean you miss about 33% of games per season . so i go when i can . but your right, greens rallying cry has worked for me. i will buy one next season, and give it away when i can't go . see you in the queue .. shammy

The fool just doesn't seem to get it . We all know attendances have been falling for years no matter what teams are in the league . Prices for everything just seem to go up and wages for the lucky people like myself who are working have been staying the same for the last few years . This d!ck doesn't know how many books we sell, he is just another sheep who see empty seats at the stadium and assume there is no one there . As GJ says this guy is bottling himself in case he has to increase prices and the backlash begins . Remember this is all bravado right now about no walking away and enjoying the journey.........DH
