wonder what the T after davie stands for? And for the record Brian Quinn was the previous chairman to Dr Reid, Fergus and Deremot Desmond have never been chairman of Celtic FC (note the FC part). 1967 was the season in which both Rangers and Celtic were competing in the finals of both European trophies! Would have been something if we had managed to beat Bayern Munich.
In fact, 1967 was the second of our 5 European finals appearances.

Thank God tony mowbray is no longer our manager, he is a gentlemam, but as a manager tony doesn't seem to learn. Tonys hibs teams used to come to celtic park and play us off the park at times, but we always seemed to beat them by a goal, his WestBrom team seemed the same, and when he was our boss , you were never sure of a win till the final whistle. Tonys boro were 3-1 up at home today and got beat 4-3, surely at some point he has to screw the nut and sort out his defence, anyways, we have a hard game tommorrow, and i'm looking for kris commons to keep up his scoring streak, and i would be happy to see wee James forrest getting back in the team, he has been unlucky with injuries, but wee shooders, has bags of potential.

The point i was making paddy is ongoing about people using nicknames to help the continuity of discussions or the eds using a log in system, GTID, baz, taxman sickbohy all said that if everyone chose a name, there would be no need for a log in system, most people like yourself can have their posts easily followed and ideas discussed with you as a person, not an anymous poster just posting anything. It has been an ongoing discussion on here and you, paddy (if u don't mind me calling you that) are one of the few sensible posters, who post a name, this allows you to be known and helps others pass opinions on your views. Surely you must agree that most anonymous posters just post BS or nonsense. The eds were looking at closing down the pages because of it, it was just one of the ideas to help keep the pages open. It was people looking for the best for the site. Would u rather have a sign in system or just put paddybhoy at the end of your name? That way anyone you are talking/ debating with knows it is you right away. Seems like some folk have read selected posts and decided that guy sickboy is the devil. Funny how it is only people without names that have a problem with it, is it because we will know who is posting s**te. How many posts about seeing robbie keane in Glasgow, were signed, how many people who talk s**te about Rangers money/ takeover are signed. It was only a way to save our pages and cut out all the nonsense. Would you like the old firm pages scrapped?
