not happy with celtic going down the same route as sevco and banning journalists from celtic park you dont have to agree with eveything thats printed but censorship is not the answer . tulip

Believable3 Unbelievable12

With how they act towards Celtic in only talking about the bad things and fail to do proper job in telling the good side as well is the right reason to ban them not to mention how they have acted towards nl, trying to make him out to be a horrible person. I think you need to open your eyes up, we are too big of a club to have our name tarnished in anyway and I'm glad we are taking a stand.

Agree7 Disagree2

Totally disagree to many journalists think its acceptable to put the boot into Celtic and write whatever they want but fail to report proper stories especially about our defunct neighbours. Craig burley is another 1 who talks garbage and is hopeless
Campsie Tim

Agree8 Disagree2

When the same reporter consistently spins any Celtic story in a negative fashion then it's well deserved.Look at the way the attendances at the Norwich and Inter games were slanted. These tired, lazy tabloid reporters know their target audience, and it aint any tim i know! I would have been in favour of this years ago...........green jhedi

Agree7 Disagree2

To be honest it depends what they say. If they feel like kicking the club then why not ban them? I think Keevins' ban was harsh but sometimes bans are totally justified - no club should have to deal with people who choose to write damaging articles.

In Rangers' case the reason for the BBC ban was either because the information provided in a documentary about Craig Whyte was true and therefore potentially damaging, or fake and therefore libellous. Pretty understandable although IMO the BBC thing could have done Rangers a favour if the right people at Rangers had had their heads screwed on the right way.

Agree1 Disagree0

So much for Freedom of the Press then. That said some of them abuse their position. Keevins and his ilk are just messengers they are not journalists who investigate before reporting. He just churns out trash and when all else fails he chucks in some controversy to boost whatever piece of the media are dumb enough to hire him. Best thing to do is refuse to read/watch listen to anything he is involved in and to also send a message to his bosses that you will not listen to or read anything he is with.

celtic to sign ParadiseAndy on a free from his house, after seeing him playing fives at Glasgow Green
ParadiseAndys agent said he will play for free and the number 99 jersey, (99 rumoured to be something to do with too much jelly and icecream), just one chance, to pull on the hoops and show people what it means to us fans.
seriously we need to sign some guys. not duds tho. so in that respect id be patient
wheres the scouts that found the likes of zurawski and jvoh. we need, i feel, a stiker of that build and ability. not that the scouts that found the current crop are crap im just sayin. really we need another henke but thats never happnin. ach rant and rumour over with

I heard this rumour as well. Apparently the video clip shown on you've been framed where andy gets hit on the puss with a football by his 3 year old nephew was the clincher.

Hey everyone, I'm sure you saw my 11 man dossier of players that I posted a couple of days ago. Here is my proposal, which is wholly subjective and dependent on certain events occuring, of course.

We get an offer of £8 million or so, for Ki, and we accept it. We then try and make an offer for Jorge Molina, of Real Betis, who we were linked with a while back, and reports in January suggested an offer of £2.5-£3million would be enough. He is exactly the type of target man we need up front and would suit us to a T. We (Hopefully) get past Helsingborgs in the CL Play Off, bring ing us in the windfall of around £12million or so. We go for a comfortable on the ball, experienced CB around the age of 27/28 to bolster the defence for the CL.

Got that? Good. I'm sure (Except perhaps the TM definitely being Molina) you all agree that would be an ideal scenario.

Throw this into the equation though. We get an offer of £3.5-4million for Anthony Stokes. Now, I like Stokes, but I feel that it became clear in the run in to the end of last season, that we need real freshening up in attack. Lokomotiv Moscow were linked with Stokes for a fee similar to the one I suggest. I propose we sell Stokes (Who has been good for us the past two seasons, no doubt) and bring in a striker I proposed in my "Dossier" a few days ago, Omer Damari. Damari plays for Hapoel Tel Aviv and has a £2.7million buy out clause in his contract. he is the same age as Stokes, and scored a similar amount of goals last season, but it would freshen up the strike force, as well as making a small profit.

Not only do I propose that, but, I also propose the addition of a tricky, pacey winger/forward, as we have only one of these in Forrest, although you could argue we have young lads such as McGeouch and George coming through there. i do believe there was a lack of directness and pace in the side when Forrest was injured last season, and there are a number of options we could look at to potentially fill this void:

David Templeton, Gary Mackay-Steven or Kensuke Nagai.

Thanks for reading and I do look forward to seeing your feedback. I must stress that this is my opinion of an ideal scenario and I know that much of this depends on certain events.

Cheers,
Danjam

Hi Ed, i think its about time the board splashed some cash before the next round, we are badly needing a penalty box striker like Rhodes and a dominating center half or 2 , with Ki ment to be offski and bids of £8 million for him, we should speculate to accumulate and get these players in before the next round, 2 or 3 players could get us there, and the £15 million from the group stages will boost the boards coffers up nicely, if we fail to buy and are put out and into the EL what crap will we be told ? Scottish football is in a bad state blah blah blah, well its up to us to make it better by getting to the group stages and buying 2 or 3 new faces.come on Peter,Neil and DD sort it out before it comes back to bite your arse like Fletcher, remember that transfer window?

Yesterday's result did not surprise me one little bit! I've mentioned on here on numerous occasions that Sally is NOT a manager! He should go back to being the 'Darling of the Media'.

It took extra time to see off Brechin and when the first league game of the season kicks off, surely as a manager, you would want to ensure a statement of intent - start as you mean to continue!

They have a side capable of competing in the SPL, for goodness sake. It's going to be a long season and one thing's for sure - McMoist will NOT be the manager by the end of it!

Mr Green and McCoist have, rightly, been reprimanded for their flippant, irresponsible comments - they're both as bad as each other. McCoist, especially, has shown himself up as petulant and destructive - he should look across the city and see how a manager should conduct himself.

Lenny has made mistakes, however he has the respect of the Celtic board and the supporters. Can the same be said of McCoist? I think not!

By the way, where's John Brown disappeared to? What a buffoon that man is, what was he thinking? Yet more destruction from a former Ibrox Legend/Great!

Rangers are in real trouble and I'm absolutely distraught! lol

Hey Miko long time no post, how are you? All the ex bears are going on about "billionaire" Ashley investing in club. Don't they realise he sees a way of getting a merchandise deal on the cheap and get one over on his rivals JJB Sports.
I hope Sally gets his 25 year contract. Loved the comment on ex bears page "He is finding his feet" with that beer belly he will be lucky. Timalloy

For me Ally was shown up for what he really is during the 'shame game' when after watching 3 of his players being sent off he decides to whisper in Neil Lennon's ear. If Green didn't need the fans onside, I doubt he would be in a job.

I wouldn't bother with that Green but everytime a camera or micrphone is on him, all he does is mention Celtic..a team way out of his league. Mrs E

Sorry ED007 silly prison jokes warning...

prisoner in court is sentenced to 15 years, he starts to laugh loudly. The judge irritated asks why he is laughing after getting such a long sentence.
"your honour, I have been married 20 long years and wife has NEVER let me finish a sentence yet"....
Prisoner in van going to prison is told he can take one item in with him.
He asks for a box of TAMPONS..
Baffled the guards ask him why tampons?
He replied "according to this I can go horseriding, swimming etc..."
The chief of police, a judge and district attorney are all in sauna butt naked. Suddenly there is a bleeping noise from arm of the policeman, "sorry guys he said, I got a bleeper implanted so I never lose it"
Next there is a loud ringing noise from judges ear, the judge says "guys I got a mobile phone implanted so I never miss a call"
Then the district attorney leaves suddenly but comes back a minute later, but there is paper hanging down from his backside, "sorry guys, this the FAX I was waiting on"..... Timalloy

Would be good too see celtic use the loan system to give some young and fringe team players first team experience. I'd like too see them go to a competitive 3rd division side like peterhead queens park or berwick that would be good for their development plus good for all round entertainment

I know only a friendly end obviously RM were the better side but knowing this positive sign for me wad Wilson, I honestly though he was very good! If we are not going to spend money he will have to be better than last maybe the physical side of spl which was not so much on show tonight is what he is not suited to! Mcgeoch going to be a star, kayak getting there but boyhood full backs are big concern izzy is a shadow of h player we signed and Matthews looks very suspect defensively! One final point I was hoping to see ibrahim? I take it he has no future at CP!
