An interesting read about his life of the park! Being flamboyant
and the scorpion kick was all I ever knew about him.

Excellent summary of the guy. Sorry to see he ended up going back to the very thing he escaped from. Tks for the link Ed.

{Ed001's Note - glad you enjoyed it mate, was an interesting article to write, though it was difficult deciding which bits to leave out to keep it to a manageable length!}

Alright ED any news on the injury front yet after internationals how's the squad shaping up do u know?

{Ed007's Note - As far as I know everyone due back is fine except for Ajer who
picked up a shoulder knock whilst away with Norway.
Sviatchenko is back in full training and could even make the weekend squad.}

I had a wee smile at ajers response to a partial shoulder dislocation. “When you play for Norway, there's a hell in you"
Popped it back in and back on the park to see out the win.

yeah in the same report about Jozo being injured, they said Lustig was crocked too, didn't stop him playing 2 more 90 minutes and scoring. Medjit shoite i reckon.

Good to see the Celtic Park hotel complex moving forward. We have the opportunity to put the forces of darkness even further behind in our rear view mirror. The stadium expansion could put them out of sight.
However for today I would like to put forward Willie Maley and Jimmy McGory as the next two statues for the Celtic Way, Avenue of Heroes.
Appreciate your thoughts and insight.

I would like to see the next 2 or 3 statues fan funded with a vote on who we would like. To have these Legends placed all around the front entrance and the Celtic Way would be pretty amazing. Its Fergus McCann and Paul McStay up next for me.

Would it not be the long term plan that Celtic Way have the Lisbon Lyons statues all the way up the Way and then other players at the top, Burns / Mcstay, and a few others to boot.

Think we need to go easy on the statues bhoys we could end up with more statues than fans . too many legends deserving of that honour but in the modern era Henrik must be in there but for me a player who was truly world class in a time when the word class meant just that . Daniel Fergus McGrain.

Surround OUR stadium with statues of our legends ALL of them:
So that when the opposition comes to visit they will see our Heroes:

What about young ajer eh?
Needs his shoulder popped back in place, gets it done and then plays on. That's the type of player you want around your squad.

I wonder why BR isn't playing Ajer in the league at least, think he should be first pick when either of the injury prone Simonuvic and Boyata can't play. Instead of playing Bitton and others out of position, he played in the SPFL for Kilmarnock for a full season and handled it fine.

I think we as fans can forget how young some of these players are.
I think he might have went on loan again if we had signed another CB and could see him being sent of in January again.

Kwaj he is also out of position though he's a central midfielder.

Gordo87 before he arrived at parkhead he had played several different positions including C. F. C. B. and C. M.

Think he is more suited to being a centre back rather than a midfielder.

Aindoh he only converted to CB when he came to Celtic. He played for Norway at 18 as a midfield player. wouldn't mind seeing what he could do in midfield. You never know?

I remember reading from some of the Norwegian correspondents and Norwegian newspapers that in midfield he was very enthusiastic and physical but was clumsy and not that skillful.
