I must be missing the point here , how can you float shares in a liquidated company (Rangers FC) h FC) , which is what Chuckles Green is advocating , isn't that illegal ? looks like they really are Sevco 5088 despite all their protestations

Ed, the Tories are saying its 10 years of financial belt tightening. Scottish councils are on average losing 1,000 employees each on lack of funding.
SNP do not want independence. The sums don't add up.
We've just had the biggest tax scam in Scottish business history. Now green wants a share issue of a non returns football club 4 months old with no accounts. Bit early for a mad march hare.

As Green started with the jokes here
is one I heard today....

With all the controversy over Wonga
sponsoring Newcastle, their manager
Alan Pardew has told the players to
forget all about it and to go on the
pitch and give their usual 4195% lol Timalloy

The old Rangers in liquidation financial doping cheats, same issue.
Cheats never win. Titles to be awarded to true winners soon.

Incidentally, my wife wants me to get some of that stuff Armstrong was on............

Prospective Share Issue

As other people seem intent on a share issue down the south side.
Wee Pat and I are going to offer the same for the East End...
Please buy shares in the "New Sara Heid" shares start at an amazing £50, open to all gullible (er interested) people.
Our aim is to make as much money as possible for our new venture.
45% of everything raised will go to the wee Pat Christmas fund and 45%to
to the Timalloy travel fund. 5% will go for "expenses" me and Pat think up.
2% will go to ED007 for allowing us this advertisement facility.
A further 2% will go for a booze up. All remaining monies will go to our
new business investment, less 1% for cost of setting this up.
To prove it is a genuine proposition it will personally be underwritten by
Posso Investments Inc, a subsidiary of Patrick of the Gallowgate Ltd.
All investors will get a welcome pack consisting of a balloon (choice of colour) a bar of chocolate, various "surprise"

Ed, surely Neil Doncaster CEO of SPL needs to resign?
He scaremongered that if SPL chairmen didn't vote Newco rangers directly into SPL that clubs would shut down and the SPL collapse. It never happened. There should never have been a vote. Rules are rules.
Now he's saying SPL in fine fettle and shrugging off not allowing new Sevco Rangers in. As a CEO calling this strategic issue wrong his position is untenable. There's loads of talented Scottish business people out there and jobs are scarce to have an incompetent person on high wages.

Fair play to the Sevconian supporters for buying 36,000 season tickets, even though the purchase price is greatly reduced from when the club they previouly supported played football.

However, I just cannot see how they will raise anything close to £20m in a share offering.

The minimum investment is £500.

That is a lot of money to ask in the current financial climate from your working class supporter who is already shelling out to support the club through match attendance and purchasing merchandise.

The 27,000 shareholders of Oldco who lost all their shares when Oldco went into administration would be the group of supporters who you would most think would be likely to invest. However, these guys will be very, very wary and many will be astute financially and will not invest in something that is very high risk and where they don't have full transparency or confidence in those running the club.

There is virtually no chance of any institutional investors putting their money into a team in the 4th tier of Scottish football, with no trading history, no accounts and absolutely no idea of how, when or where they will get a return on their investment from.

If Green is lucky he will get 10,000 investing (and I think this is very optomistic) at £500 each. Any investment will come from those with an emotional attatchment to the club and not from investors looking for a return.

But this will only give a receipt of £5m. Then there will be heavy professional fees to deduct, which I'd estimate to be at least £500k.

Green will be very, very lucky if he manages to raise £5m.

K-Dot had to laugh when Green was asked if he would underwrite share issue, like Murray did. No he said! but he will "buy any left over" looks like he will have to buy £19.9m LOL
I also note he is back as "OLd Co, with 140 years of history" oh these gullible ex bears will fall for anything. ha ha ha Timalloy

A see the banner issue has been cleared up nothing to answer to am glad someone employed by the sfa has common sense

Maybe that guy can clear the history carry on up an tell the sevco there history begins after the oldco {Ed007's Note - There was never going to be any case to answer regarding the banner, the whole idea smacked of desperation, someone has been given a very embarrassing red neck today, and not for the first time. I do hope my letter accompanied with a letter from a Capcom comparing the banner to the Resident Evil video games held some sway in the decision. If you want to play like children we can always use children's games as examples of your immaturity and stupidity. How many straws is that The Rangers have clutched at now?}

Believable7 Unbelievable0

ED007; All this straw clutching is the plan of the vanguard bears.It seems that they have been behind an orchestrated (ORCestrated?) campaign to fight their warped perception of an anti zombie agenda.Seems it's all done in secret on t**tter..............green jhedi {Ed007's Note - That would explain a lot GJ, it would depend who's turn of the braincell it was it that day. They aren't exactly known for their intellect.}

Agree4 Disagree1

Ed - it would be interesting to know what banner the charges were based on, the banner held up at Celtic Park, or the "doctored" banner widly shown in the media.

K-Dot. {Ed007's Note - It would be the doctored one I would guess K-Dot.}

Agree4 Disagree0

Is it me thats thick as **** or what?sally on the news there saying its going to be a long and rocky road to get us(sevco)back to where we belong.???wheres that then, cos to my mind, most new teams belong in the lowest league.why doesnt someone in the bloody media remind them they are a team only months old?are all journalists total ****ebags,or all supporters of old rangers?hope they go into liquidation soon.sooner they all realise rangers are dead and buried the better.if it takes two liquidations gor this to happen, obviously to two totally different clubs, then so be it.artybhoy

Agree3 Disagree0

Its longer now as they have reliesd its not going to be as cut n dry as they hoped at the start of the season. Just go out and win every game there now worried and rightly do

Agree0 Disagree0

I can see unhappy sevco players walking in the next year. Honestly, rangers cannot sell them but the players can break contract and walk.

Hi ed heard a rumour that the new co could be going in to adminastration because the major backers have pulled out. Do you know anything about this or is it a load of rubbish?
Paderbhoy. {Ed007's Note - Malcolm Murray has denied it.}

Believable3 Unbelievable1

There's been untruthful denials out of Ibrox for years.

What do we know about this guy Malcolm Murray? Where was he a chairman, CEO etc before sevco? Did those companies fold owing money?

Rangers to float shares
http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-19906644

Will the gullible actually hand over cash to this? A lot of the lies together there.

Believable7 Unbelievable1

11 Oct 2012 12:40:38
From TV website Ed:

"After the Sevco asset purchase, Mr Green has been behind the drive to sell 36,000 season tickets at Ibrox, and confirmed in an interview with the club’s official online TV channel in May that his consortium's objective was to profit through a share issue.

He said: "I said on day one I wasn't coming here because I was the Salvation Army and I came here to make money. I make no apology for that and the reality is that any money I make will be in the form of shares"

Rangersrumours don't appear to want to put it up.

'The club hope their admission to the AIM can be completed by the end of the year'. This is the sentence that should put all rangers fans on their guard after the Murray and Whyte fiascos.
Words like 'hope', 'the end of the yesr' and working capital' do not inspire any kind of confidence, and, isn't the timing somewhat suspicious, coming as it does within forty-eight hours of the Forbes article, which basically said that the business could not be run on a commercial basis, in its current state of health.

We watch with amusement :-) Mrs E

I'm hearing rumour Craig whyte during his several months took in £50m; gate receipts, tv money, sponsorships and £26m from Ticketus. During the period he spent £20m and syphoned £30m...... And this is what is floating new sevco rangers....the economics don't work unless this money saved from creditors for the rebuild of newco.
Whyte said he would be the hero and saviour in long run.

Whyte owns assets from grand Cayman shell company and blue pitch holdings.

Why was whyte allowed to appoint his own duff and phelps administrators? Why were they never working in creditors interests? Why did duff and phelps director attend meetings with whyte and advise on purchase of rangers? Why is Sir David back being the great guy? Why did companies house allow sevco Scotland to rename as Rangers FC the name of a club in liquidation? And that club to be renamed rangers 2012?

Scottish companies law is the same as England. Westminster laws. Not devolved. Companies house all over UK have to work to the same acts of parliament.

I'm reading BBC sport and theres Green ruining my morning again with his lies. He's saying Sevco Rangers are going on the AIM stock exchange and his shares prospectus says its the historical 140 year old Rangers and Assets worth £50m.
He's saying money raised goes on 1. Buy players 2. Improve facilities 3. Working capital but he doesn't priorities which is first and he doesn't say how much goes to each.
Working capital is very worrying.... Paying the bills. What payes the bills when the shares money runs out?

How can he buy assets for less that £5m (remember he said £2m was for the players contracts). And 3 months later they're £50m?

The stadia is a sewage leaking rust bucket with asbestos and he describes it as Scotland's only Uefa top class stadium. New hampden and Celtic park are both proper modern sporting arenas. This prospectus is full of lies.

How can you float a four month old club without accounts on a false prospectus?

Believable7 Unbelievable0

They are banned from buying players. If Rankers fans don't see this as a crock of s--t they deserve everything they won't end up with. Bring on "Liquidation" the sequel.
