Just listened to mourinhos interview, saying psg spoiled the game by over celebrating when they scored and by feigning injury to slow the game.I know exactly how you feel Jose, does Seville ring any bells what goes around comes around you piece of s##t.killy.

Ah you beat me to it. I was well impressed to see Paris accomplish what we so nearly did v. Inter, and against our auld enemy. Typical Jose team: fall over as much as possible, roll, beg, whinge - nd then blame the other team for the same.

They were out manoeuvred by 10 men who were fitter and stronger.

Verratti for me over the two legs was the outstanding player. A psychopath no-doubt, but a fitter and more able player you could not find (even with Matoudi in the team).

Remember his first spell at Chelsea when they played Barca in CL and Barca had just signed Deco from Porto, he came out with something like I hope the ref's are wise to Deco's diving antics. Anyway how massively overrated and over funded is that English Premiership? Best league in the world my a*** . La ligue and Bundesliga miles ahead .The Epl represents all that is wrong in football today.

12 Mar 2015 01:36:55
Stevie your views on the Epl are 100% accurate. The saddest thing from the English point of view is that Chelsea are now consistently one of the more glamourous sides and also probably the most successful. Tonight's performance was dismal.

12 Mar 2015 11:26:23
What goes around, comes around Jose and every team you have coached have adapted a culture of diving, simulation, bullying officials and feigning injury; Every dirty trick in the book.
I detest the arrogance of the EPL and it's SLY bankers as it is full of very over rated and highly over priced mediocrity. Unfortunately the powers that be at UEFA have also ruined the premier tournament of Europe by seeding and pockling the draw so that the same mega-rich clubs are almost assured of further guaranteed lucrative cash amounts as the rounds progress.

Fair play to Jamie Carragher not my favourite pundit mostly because his voice just gets me!

But on the day saying first time he was ever introduced to a cheating/diving Mourinho team was Porto/Celtic in Seville!

Live long in the memory banks when you cheat/fake it me thinks!

The way the English teams are performing in th Champions league, you wonder how long they will continue to get 4 teams in the competition.
I think as jungle jim says that the powers that be are only interested in the leagues with money, not whether the teams from that league are any good or not.

Guys I hope you have taken my advice and followed ED023 tips on the football rumours bet site he has had NINE winners and a few placed in two days, myself? I am up a bundle and back in Mrs T's good books Cheltenham is notoriously hard to make a profit but ED023 has achieved it looking forward to his tips for tomorrow

For the game on Sunday if Commons and Mathews are both fit I would play young Fisher at right back, drop Forrest and play Mathews further forward so my team Gordon, Fisher, Denayer, VVD (if available), Ambrose if not, Izzy, Brown, Biton, Mathews, Johansen, Commons, Griffiths

Believable0 Unbelievable4

11 Mar 2015 15:47:49
Matthews better at full back than Fisher ( who hasn't really got any game time this season) Forrest carries much more of a threat further up the park than Matthews. Matthews is good linking up with Forrest and getting to end- line .

Agree0 Disagree1

11 Mar 2015 22:31:33
Forrest a threat? Heard it all now

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Mar 2015 01:40:11
It was a pity you missed last Sunday's game . Forrest was quite good and had a very good half hour after half time .

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Mar 2015 04:54:20
In fairness dn30 Forrest is more of a threat further up the field, usually to the ball boys behind the opposition's goal where he runs the ball to 90% of the time he receives it.

Chris02 I was actually at game. Are u sure u were watching the right game on the right channel?

Fab1 lmao that's true mate. Hopefully its tally-ho for him in summer. He's destined for big things at a big club like East Fife lol

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Mar 2015 11:32:24
I think Forrest thought he was about to be hooked and upped his game for 15 minutes in the second half and made an impact. This was too little too late in my opinion and he has been very disappointing for far too long - too often.
The absence of GMS was a perfect opportunity to get his act together as he should be fit and raring to go after all the football he has missed and he needs to knuckle down and stop worrying about his bouffant getting messed up.

Dn30. Either your mind was distracted or (D N ) are to DeNy yourself any pleasure of seeing anyone playing well in a Celtic top.
I have often seen and heard Celtic fans at Celtic games who wouldn't know what day of the week it was . Now with all the aggro against Forrest, are we going to leave Ambrose alone .

Agree1 Disagree0

12 Mar 2015 18:05:25
Sorry Chris02. How dare I comment on a player such as Forrest or Ambrose who are simply not good enough to wear the hoops.

Question did you get pleasure watching some of the duds we have seen over the years who are on par with Forrest?

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Mar 2015 00:48:31
answer I have never went out of my way to publicly humiliate anyone playing for Celtic . I want Celtic to win and that is why I don't abuse or ridicule any Celtic players
However when they are gone they are fair game to be ridiculed or abused by any Celtic supporter.
I supported Hooper when he was a Celtic supporter, now he is a fat money grabber championship squad player.

I suppose you prefer to use your undoubted wit sneering and name calling the Celtic players and think you are encouraging them .
God help us and Celtic . We don't need rival supporters to try to put our players off their game when we have duds amongst our own .

13 Mar 2015 03:33:24
Yes because I'm sure they all read these pages, it's called being honest. It doesn't matter how long you polish a turd for it's still a turd .

13 Mar 2015 14:09:35
Who said anything about Hooper? Hooper was a good servant for club and I personally have no animosity towards him for wanting to play in EPL.

So Dundee united had 2 players sent off on Sunday and Celtic had one but only vvd looks set to miss the game as a direct consequence of the game at tannadice . Surley there is something wrong with the rules if that is the case?

Believable3 Unbelievable1

11 Mar 2015 15:50:28
Fab1 absolutely no problem with the rules in Scotland but there is a major. Problem in how they are interpretated . A

Agree0 Disagree3

11 Mar 2015 15:51:09
There is. Stinks something rotten but I'm almost past caring, think I'm now old enough to not tear my hair out and just shrug it off. The game will mean more to me if we win that we've beaten all that goes against us rather than a football team.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Mar 2015 17:57:19
Chris you will need to explain this to me, if like I said 3 players were sent off but only one missed the final . How is the problem in the interpretation rather than the rule?

Agree2 Disagree0

12 Mar 2015 01:46:53
Fab what final are you talking about . We don't know who will miss the final. (?) .
Surely it's the way referees interpret the rules which means a player can be sent off for an offence under one referee and not carded under another referee.

We know for example it's wrong to dive, it's how the referee interprets, how a player finishes on the ground that decides if it is a penalty or a yellow card .
All right Fab 1 can you interpret what I mean't now.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Mar 2015 04:32:56
Is the news a bit slow getting over the water pal because as things stand here in Scotland only vvd is suspended from the game on Sunday as a result of what happened at tannadice, have you just found the word interpretation and were desperately trying to use it? I wasn't talking about whether they were sending offs or not, I was talking about how neither of the united guys who were sent off are suspended for the final but as things stand vvd is, if you read my original post that is quite clear .

Bobby Madden will referee Sunday's League Cup Final between Celtic and Dundee United.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

11 Mar 2015 14:03:30
Craig Thomson and Graham Chambers have been dropped from the Celtic v Dundee United Scottish Cup replay next Wednesday.

The bungling duo were at the centre of a number of baffling decisions in Sunday's cup tie with both clubs appealing against red cards issued in the match.

Calum Murray will referee the match assisted by Andrew McWilliam and Frank Connor.

SFA convention ensures that the officials involved in a cup tie also officiate at the replay unless exceptional circumstances are involved.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

11 Mar 2015 15:53:33
And we are expected to believe this is progress . Willie won't need any help from his assistant as he has eyes in the back of his head to catch Celtic players from thinking of doing wrong things .

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Mar 2015 14:00:25
Is it time to scrap replays for Scottish cup games and implement extra time and penalties?

I personally think it is time to ditch replays.

1. It is more exciting for fans and saves them having to fork out more money, as many of them struggle to afford it already without adding to the expense.

2. It will help with fixture congestion as it is crazy the amount of games you play if you are a successful team and qualify for Europe.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

11 Mar 2015 14:41:29
I personally wouldn't like replays to be scrapped, I think it would encourage the lesser team to just park the bus for 120 minutes then take their chance in a shootout.
I've got to be honest and say I don't have a lot of time for the argument about players playing too many games, whenever clubs do get a bit of spare time they generally go off and play friendlies somewhere.
As a fan I would rather they stay and play proper matches.
A lot of Celtic's problems at the moment were caused because we took a mid season break in January, with that and the odd postponement, it's meant we're having to cram matches into a short space of time.

Agree2 Disagree0

11 Mar 2015 16:35:05
other side of the coin Gerry is you have lesser teams defending for 90 mins to force a replay back at CP to get half the gate receipts and we have to fork out more money to go to the replay. .I'm all for finishing the game on the day

Sorry Tim I had a wee chuckle at that tin can reply. The guy took it in the same humour you made the post in.
Dn you remind me of a scorned ex. You claim you've moved on and have no further feelings for Mr Lennon but you can't go a day without talking about him. I think there's a chance you may have a Neil Lennon shrine in your home a place where you go to pray for for the return of the prodigal son. I don't think it will happen mate but you never know keep hoping and praying lol
