Yes Mrs. E to me the clubs are very similiar and are linked in a lot of ways; the obvious ones like YNWA and the first match after Hillsborough, but both have a great set of fans, you went years without the League like we are now, the press are against both of us, we've both had more success in Europe than are biggest rivals ;-)and it was my first European away trip to Celtic so I do have a soft spot for the hoops,its just something I will always have.

Having watched or listened to several SPL teams playing this weekend it is difficult to see where the tainted media get the impression that Scottish Football feels it can't do without the tax dodgers. Almost every set of fans in Scotland is celebrating their downfall. These are the people whose opinions should count. Just a quick question on the "SPL 10" meeting this week. Given that technically Rangers are still in business then the meeting will surely be pointless as the voting structure would still require a 11-1 majority? or is this meeting being set up so they can have an agenda to push forward for change should Rangers hit the wall? I would appreciate your take on this mate, I'm all for change if it makes the league better which in theory would help the national team (god knows we need it) but what hacks me off is the rest of the SPL seem intent on Celtic and Rangers giving up more of a share to sustain them, if they cant fill there own stadia on a weekly basis surely that's there responsibility. {Ed001's Note - they are looking to push through changes whether Rangers survive or not. They want to break the power of the Old Firm and have it spread more equitably.}
