Why does Marc crosas not get a game for celtic when he is clearly the best passer in the spl. He should start in the middle with kayal with ledley out wide left and Juarez out at the right. What do you bhoys think?

Lenny must stay.lenny is next stein.lenny knows a lot but stein knew more.
btw, I'm lenny's shrink/orthodentist/image consultant-I better get back to work!
Bear in the forest.

I have to laught at rangers fans , they claim celtic should respect the dead last week for the minute silence but they always try to get digs into Jock Stein the very person who put all old firm feelings aside and helped carry your dead and woonded on the field so who has the lack of respect now .

what will you do the next time aberdeen fans come to Ibrox and start singing about the ibrox disaster will you shout outrage for them showing a lack of respect for the dead , well look in the mirror , your just as narrow minded. {ed's note - actually I think he was saying Stein was great and being sarcastic about Neil Lennon's ability to reach that level, despite some fans feting him as a future Stein. At least that was how I read it, so I hope that is also what he meant, only I get sick of the bitterness over Stein, it would be nice to see him given the respect he deserves for his part in saving lives.

Ed - Just for the avoidence of any doudt this distasteful statement is in reference to abuse which took place a boys club associated to Celtic back in the Stein era. The brigade have in the last few years launched a vile smear against Stein regarding his "role" in this - this clown clearly feels that its fair game and is probably dim enough to imagine it to be banter. That said, in general I'm bit fed up with all the cries for censorship on this from the "offended" on all sides. Clearly some things are beyond the pale but "Hun" or WATP" debates have raged over the last few days and its a peice of nonsence. Let the idiots show themselves up for what they are and get back to the football!

To the guy who thinks that Celtic are not as skint as leeds . .

wake up . . Leeds are not skint and celtic are in financial trouble

Sorry, what basis do you have for this. I've no knowledge (or interest) in Leeds financial position but as a shareholder have a fair idea of Celtic's. The club (to the frustration of some) has been run on an extremely prudent basis for a number of years, has very low debt, particularly by modern standards (these fell from a peak of nearly £30m to less than £3m before rsising to a little over £6M), and has a turnover generally exceeding £70M. Wages to turnover ratio are amongst the best in the game. Figures may not be so good this year following a poor year in Europe but trouble? Give me a break and stick to the facts. MUPPET!

GTID {ed's note - it depends on who you play, I would prefer Partick out of the Glasgow clubs, I have a good friend who supports them so like to see them do well.}

Re: ah well . . i suppose the Partick area is very pro rangers so that will have to do :oP {ed's note - is it? I never knew that, he only supported them because he doesn't like the religious stuff that goes with the Old Firm. So he chose the other local team.}

Not a rumour, just and observation.
Any other Tims think that the new set up on the Celtic website looks crap. Like they're trying to make it high-tech. Did notice a link for Santos Laguna's official site though.

just in case you don't know ed this line lenny knows a lot but stein knew more. is in reference to at least that's the way it appears

stien was a great man who all celtic fans will remember plus maybe you should just respect him because he is dead and was one of the greatest ever scotish managers along with shankly fergussson dagliesh and busby and he won everything from the sd1 to the glasgow cup to the european championship all the way up too world cup qualification and farmed players like jinky dagliesh danny mcgrain lennox chalmers billy mcneil tommy gemmel and pat bonner who were some of celtics players to remember and then theres lennon who has alot left in him but if it says anything he like stien was once a youth coach at celtic and he has brought in some good players forrest was first played under him and he is starting to show his good coulors he gave paddy a chance he brough hooper izzaguire and majstrovic lennon does have some stein qualitys but at the same time stien is a legend lennon is a amature and also last thing 66 dead is no arguing matter RIP even if they are from the other side

I'm afraid you were duped again Ed - the line Jock knew more is a veiled attempt to besmirch Mr Stein's good name, it takes someone with a twisted warped mind to try and make ludicrous point winning from children who suffered at the hands of a paedophile, honestly, this vermin are truly the scum of the earth! {ed's note - I am sorry mate the new editors are still trying to get the hang of all the acronyms and I was picking my daughter up from school.}

{Editor's Note: All I can say is that all efforts are being made to ensure that such issues do not appear on these pages. The problem lies in both sets of fans seemingly going out of their way be introduce these issues. We'll take a look, but I have yet to find the offending post.}

To the guy who wrote that Efrain Juarez was signed without Neil's approval, get a grip.

When he signed Neil stated clearly (you can google the article) that Juarez first came to his attention when he played for Mexico against England in a friendly at wembley, and that he continued to watch him through the world cup.

Clearly a Neil Lennon signing.

PLEASE STOP MAKING STUFF UP! !

Dear Ed- I, as I'm sure most Celtic and rangers fans do, read both teams rumours pages. A trend I am noticing is whilst you appear to be particularly disparaging of Celtic fans comments on the rangers page you appear to be far more tolerant of their bitter rantings on our site. Objectivity is the basic minimum requirement of your position and you do not display that on here in my opinion. I apreciate the sheer volume of sectarian nonsense you now doubt have to filter, but your leanings, however slight are starting to show. Apologies if I'm wrong, just telling you how it translates. Jim Doc 67 {ed's note - considering the Rangers fans accuse me of being biased towards Celtic, I would have to say that it is more about your bias than mine. I honestly have nothing against either team, I just don't support either. I don't think it is possible to ever be seen as complete objective, even if I didn't comment at all.}

Re: and what if he did have a "slight" leaning towards rangers? Is he not allowed to have an opinion?!

Go on ed . . get the bouncy on the go. join the champions!

Celtic in serious financial trouble and are seeking a merger with Rangers

What crap are you talking! The only club in financial meltdown is ran*gers. Celtic could buy rangers and loan the whole lot of them to east Stirling lol

dont think so pal. celtic will be in a financial mess come the end of season if they fail to win the lge again which is more than likely as the money lennon has had to spend he aint spent it very wisely. and looks like he aint spending the jan money any better as he is trying to get an unknown like huskellp for 1.5mill instead of spending that money on a proven player. how many players does he need to be honest the more he brings in the more the squad will be unsettled. also rangers arent the only club with bad finances look at hearts they have more debt than rangers and celtics debt will rise to the 20mill mark by end of season.

People talk some sh*t on this site , celtic are not and will not be in finantial trouble they may be in dept but celtic have 2 billionairs on there board who's assets cover celtic's depts easily , The only reason rangers are so bad just now is that murray went from being worth almost 900 million to only 90 million and his assets can't cover rangers depts anymore. As long as celtic have desmond and O'Brien on the board they will be fine , In dept still but they will never reach rangers level as desmond would just cut back on spending and wages , but the bank would never take over.

Murray has lost most of his fortune as the steal industray has went down in the Uk as the russian's are under cutting him by a lot.
